On this day granted to us by the first son Harren, we would like to formally announce the creation of the Ghanyan Crown Council; the advising council of the Regnant ruler and the only few that may speak in his(or her) name. All Councilmen must demote all loyalties to their respective tribes and swear an oath to the crown upon taking this great honour. Although these roles are bestowed by acting-rulers, Councilmen are loyal to the Crown and with such, their roles remain, even if a ruler were to abdicate or die - they must only secede their roles if the acting-ruler commands so.

• The Advisor-Regent, a role that pre-dates this council and even the creation of Ghanyah, remaining the highest non-regal role in the nation. Their primary job being the role of Second-in-command of all affairs including diplomacy behind a Regnant Ruler, to act as the Designated Regent should the nation require Regency, to advise a Ruler on all necessary affairs, and to assist in correspondence. This honour has been bestowed upon Valdun of the Evolasti tribe. Although not the first to uptake this role in the duration of our existence, he will be the first to uptake it as an active Councilman.

 

 

• The Advising Commander, the Supreme Leader of the Ghanyan Jeshi and direct leader of all militarized affairs. Their primary job is to preserve the militarization of state, to lead the Ghanyan Jeshi in and out of war, to advise the Ruler on strategy, protect a Ruler and his/her interests through combat, and to enforce martial law in the nation if necessary. This Honour has been bestowed upon Melesse Alem Zewedu, being the first to uptake this role in the duration of our nation.

 

• The Chancellor, the Prime Enforcer of Law and Justice. Their job is to act as the primary leader in trials under our jurisdiction, to oversee the legitimacy of internal warfare, to actively survey the competence of Ghanyan vassals, and to maintain the dependency of the tribes. This honour has been bestowed upon Khoridai of Yereltai, being the first to uptake this role in the duration of our nation.
