Elsillumiran have long been the diligent guardians of blessed Haelun'or. Disciplined and resolute in their commitment to the maehr'sae hiylun'ehya, the Weeping Blades stand in an everlasting vigil safeguarding the walls of the city, ensuring that none who might wish harm upon her denizens see their way past. Serving beneath the command of Evarir'llum, whose purpose stands twofold - to ward against threats both abroad and domestic - they answer to the Silver Council and are sworn to upkeep the tenets which constitute the maehr’sae hiylun’ehya and the law of the Silver State.

 

 

The Code of Elsillumiran

 

1. Take it upon yourself to rid each and everyone one of your comrades of weakness and insubordination. To do so is your express duty, not only to the silver city to which we have pledged our allegiance, but to yourselves as well, for your very life lies in the hands of your comrades, and theirs in yours.

2. Keep constant vigilance upon one another’s back. Your fellow Sillumir have entrusted you to protect them with your life as they are doing with theirs for you. To falter in the face of a foe is to risk the life of another Sillumir.

3. Do not resort to physical action unless required to. We are not murderers, slaughterers, or butchers. Give avernan a chance to turn away and leave.

4. Zero tolerance upon insubordination. Even to the smallest of degrees, insubordination will not be tolerated at all, as even the most miniscule of cracks will widen over time and crumble the mightiest of walls, tearing asunder the staunchest of defences.

5. Knowledge and balance must be observed. Through knowledge, we glimpse the future and reveal the path in which we take. Only by wisdom and strength do we pave the road upon which we all will tread, marching in unison towards our destination. Through words followed by action, theory into application, thoughts into manifestation, and dreams into reality.

 

Initiation and Enlistment

 

Before you are able to become initiated into Elsillumir there are two simple prerequisites that must be met, which are the following;

 

• Must be a confirmed citizen within the Silver Enclave of Haelun’or.

• Must be of adult age.

 

Once both these prerequisites have been met, then the individual seeking to join is to sit a freeform interview with either a member of Elokarir council, or another member of Elsillumir. The questions involved will be confirming the prerequisites, as well as questions focused upon the individual in question. If accepted, then they will be granted the first ranking title as well as given a fitting uniform for them to wear and a fitted name to bear in service.

 

Once enlisted within the first ranking of the hierarchy, the individual is granted the same rights as all guardsmen, bar the ability to recruit other individuals. After an undisclosed amount of time has passed, and assuming the individual has been a valuable asset to Elsillumir, they shall be promoted to the base ranking within and be granted all benefits afforded to such.

 

 

Ranking

 

Officers

 

Okarir’tir: Administrator, logistical tactician, and on field commander of the Elsillumir. The individual with the ranking also sits upon the silver council and overall ensures the safety of elcihi through commandment.

Tilruir’tir: The Tilruir’tir are the squadron leaders and directly reports to the the Silver Council. They are efficient commanders on the battlefield, and well minded tacticians, who are inspiring role models for Elsillumiran. The individuals with this ranking assists in leading Elsillumiran and lead their assigned squadron onwards to victory.

Tuferer: The Tuferir is the quartermaster of Elsillumiran, and as such is tasked with the proper maintenance of all the armament and supplies that are utilized on both a day to day occurance, and for times of war. They are ones with keen eyes for organization and keeping sensible records. The individual with this ranking holds and delegates the keys to Elsillumiran’s storage.

Enlisted

 

Sillumiran and Illumiran: The Sillumiran and Illumiran are the backbone of Elsillumiran, having passed their trials and taken on the sacred oath. They are capable and effective guardsmen in times of peace, and equally capable and effective soldiers in times of war. Individuals with this ranking are expected to work diligently as to keep themselves in top position as the protectors of the silver city. Sillumiran are the blades - those who fight with force. The Illumiran are the mages - those who fight with the arcane.

 

Evarir: The Evarir are those who have newly entered Elsillumiran and have yet to take the oath, nor have passed their trials. They are given a set of armament, as well as a clean uniform to wear with pride. Individuals with this ranking are expected to prove themselves to Elokarir’tir and their people within elcihi, as to be given the chance to take on the oath and become promoted.
