A Sermon on The Fight Ahead

[!] Upon reflecting on the battles that the good soldiers of the empire are soon to face, Elwood takes the time to hold a sermon for the people of Carolustadt, hoping to keep spirits high.

 

The men, women, and children of GOD, we have been faithful and true, patient and welcoming and willing to extend a hand to those who wish to find salvation under the guiding hand of our Lord. Each of us in our own way have committed ourselves to finding salvation, each of us fighting against our own struggles of spirit in hopes of bettering ourselves so we may find peace within the Seven Skies.

But there is a threat to this, my friends, to each of us, which resides in the lands of Nordengrad.

 

My friends, we are staring into the eye of Iblees. We cannot stand by and allow the Norlandic heretics to threaten and attack our brothers and sisters in faith. We must all, as the devout of God’s chosen, defend our flock from this threat of iniquity, these people who have been warped by the whispers and lies of the Deceiver.

 

We, like Exalted Owyn, must be relentless in our actions, in our DUTY, to dismantle and extinguish this false flame of the All-Father. For the betterment of the Empire, for the sake of HUMANITY, we cannot hold back.
