A Nordlandic peasant’s description of Emperor Aurelius before the destruction of the Krag

Like a dreaded beast wrought with anger and fury, the dragon soared miles above the territory of the city walls. It’s roar pierced the cold deepest caverns of the Krag and left the skin of men crawling upon impact. The bravest Norlandic soldiers soiled themselves in fear, dropped their weapons and crawled to the nearest corner of their stone bastions. When the beast suddenly dropped to all fours and stood almighty, it caught the unfortunate sight of a late night watchman. In almost a minute the entire fortress was lit ablaze and the tale of the Norlandic king and his men were but ash and scorched bones left for carrion vultures to feast upon.

Eerie where the sounds of the coalition of orcs, dwarves, and heathens replaced by the ambient noise of a roaring fire. The strength of the dragon’s breath was so strong that even stone crumbled, leaving the Krag to descend awkwardly on the back of the castle.

Peasantry herald that our Divine Emperor that holds dominion over Man is no man but instead a dragon sculpted into the form of a perfect man. It is claimed that Canonius Horen was born in the midst of a deadly storm between the lands of Aeldin and Axios and that a single lightning strike heralded his inevitable arrival into the world.

Ostrobor reads the story, smiling at the well written account of our Emperor that was written by his good friend!
