blago 1602 Share Posted April 3, 2019 Aurelian Festival ________________________________________________________ In honor of the founder of the Empire, this Tobias’s Bounty of 1710 shall be celebrated in the name of Aurelius I, Divine Emperor and creator of the Imperium. For building the foundations and structure of its protecting nature to Humanity, it is in our respect to pay tribute in celebration of his revered name. ____________________________________________ __________________________________ Aurelius I riding throughout the streets of Carolustadt, circa. 1685 _______________________ By the recognition of the Imperial throne, it is by this day of Tobias’ Bounty that it shall be known as Aurelius’ Rest, a holiday given to all of the Empire where its citizens may rest and rejoice to the name it assigned to. Bread given to the poor, and games for all, may we remember the peace secured in Aurelius’ rule. For this day annually will be one to rest in the sacred memory of the Imperium. All of the Empire and its allies are welcomed to the Human Capital, to join in the palace in a ceremonial gathering, upon its finish leaving to the dancehall will we be commenced in the Aurelian games. All vassals, allies, and citizens of the Imperium are called to pay respect to Aurelius in the fashion as all know – A large war games, practicing our unity in combat in a rally leaving the capital from the palace. As he once loved the view of war and combat, we shall bask his image in these very games. Whichever or whoever comes out of the games in a heroic fashion, proving a true Renatian, Imperial spirit, shall be granted the Tabbard of Pertinax, the last item given by his Divine self Aurelius. May all in attendance enjoy the lion-hearted fashion of true combat, and from this day forth each year pay respects to the Emperor of Man, Aurelius. OOC: April 6th Saturday at 3EST, the event will begin in the Imperial Palace. Rally your armies and people, and get ready for the wargames that follow it!!!
