Issue with Chat Feature

Hello! I don’t mean to be a nuisance but I’m having a trouble msging people. Everytime I enter /msg [Playername], it responds with “You need to specify a player /friend msg [name of friend] [message] Send a message to a friend. Is this intentional? I thought we could msg anyone we want

I’ve found that you have to use their ENTIRE ign now. So for me you’d have to do /msg AGiantPie not /msg AGiant
