Established by the Monastery of Saint Robert, est 1724

HARK YE, traveler! Welcome as the smell of roasted pork tickles thy nose hairs and beckons you into the Grand Duchy of Cathalon (formerly The Republic of Ves, for ye uncultured). Simply turn left upon entering the gate and rest thy weary bones by the fire. Enjoy locally cultivated food and homemade brews blessed by the local monks. Feast, rejoice and rest. You are in the comfort of the belly of the boar.

Interested in working for us?
The Jolly Boar Tavern is a Church-owned business and although it is operated primarily by the monks of the local monastery, we are seeking both locals and newcomers to Cathalon to operate the establishment. We ask that all who work here represent the epitome of good Canonist values.

Speak to Father Odus de Jedih (Fatso_Fleeper/Barrio Tales) for employment.

A local peasant sits in always welcoming Bird ‘n Bard tavern that was across from the Jolly Boar.

“I wouldn’t mind it if the Jolly Boar was just a restaurant, not a tavern though.” They’d mutter to themselves.

”Perhaps I’ll try it.”
