IMPERIAL SENATE ELECTIONS, 1738

12 TOBIAS’ BOUNTY

 

Let all citizens of the Empire rejoice, for the 1738 elections for the Imperial Senate have returned their results. The following candidates are victorious in their election as representatives to the Imperial Diet for terms of four years, encompassing two sittings of  two years each, and are henceforth entitled to bear the style of senator-elect until such time as the legislative sitting of 1738-1740 begins and they appropriately take their oath of office. 

 

HELENA

APRTHE, Lars (14.29%)

ARMAS, Frederick S. (85.71%) (ELECTED)

 

CURON

 

BOWERS, Charles (50%)

FLAMEFORGE, Jakob (50%)

 

The result is inconclusive. In such circumstances, the seat is declared vacant. As per the Edict of Election (1736), if a seat is vacant, the chief of that province (In this case the King of Curon) is responsible for filling the seat. His choice for senator-designate shall be sworn in with the other senators elected in this cycle, with a term expiring in 1742.
