DEAR CITIZENS OF SUFFONIA,

It is our sorrow to announce that our Archduke, Prince Edward Suffolk suffered a sudden stroke and became incapacitated upon hearing the unexpected death of his second son due to heart failure, the 78 old Prince Charles Suffolk 2nd in line to the Patriarchy of the House of Suffolk. Prince Edward was conducting missionary activities alone in the lands of Curonia when the messenger reached him. Thankfully our friends, Radashastians were there to help him and he was carried to Warwick castle by them. Healers of Suffonia informed us in addition to the sorrowful news, his simple diet of fish and bread and simple living conditions such as sleeping on a hay bed in a cabinet in Warwick Cathedral also contributed to the decline of Prince Edwards health. Prince Edwards chambers are now moved to his unused Archducal Chambers in Pembroke Palace and he is now being attended by healers and servants constantly. We assure citizens of Suffonia that His Highness’s Privy Council of Ministers that we will do anything in our power to make sure His Highness wakes up and returns to his realm and we are sure that our 101-year-old Archduke will bless us with his presence for decades to come.

As per Article IX of Code on Inheritance and Succession, No: I, until our Prince Edward regains his heath, the Privy Council honors Lord John Nicholas Suffolk, now second in line to the Patriarchy of the House of Suffolk and unanimously appointed as the regent for the Patriarchy of the House of Suffolk with the title of Lord Protector of Suffonia as per Article 1 of the Administration Act 1737
