[!] The following newspaper would be found stacked below the noticeboard, at the front desk of the library, and placed on doorsteps of Irrinite citizen homes. The paper of such seemed to be made from recycled paper.

Newspaper Published!

Citizens of Irrinor, on behalf of the Ohowaki’leh Lindorian Library, we are pleased to announce the founding of this newspaper. These papers will allow the general citizen to quickly become updated with recent events, notices, and also brief topics of information that one could find interesting. We are looking for writers to present us with sections of each paper, regarding any topic of your choice! These can be short stories, prayers, cooking recipes, or anything your creativity leads you to submitting. When you are done with reading the papers, we ask that you please dispose of them in the bin directly outside of the library, on the path just straying away from the square. This will allow us to not waste our beloved natural resources, by recycling the same resources for the next paper. Thank you for your efforts!

Upcoming Events!

Trivia Night

Prepare your minds as you await the exciting game of trivia, hosted by the Caerme’onn Seed. The questions will be related to culture, history, and faith of the Mali’ame people, how wonderful! This competition will be held in the Irrinor tavern, and all are invited to compete. Prizes include one THOUSAND mina, as well as custom tailored clothing! Come on down and test your brains!

(Thursday, February 13th, at 6PM EST)

Tribal Omentahu

The Omentahu will be held later in the Elven week. If you are not familiar with what this is, it is a meeting where the government of Irrinor discuss issues and plans for the future of the nation. Citizens have a good opportunity to raise any concerns they may have at this event. The Omentahu, as always, will be held in the throne room.

(Saturday, February 15th, at 6PM EST)

Second Tournament of the Omentahu

Not to be mistaken for the prior event, the Second Tournament of the Omentahu is being held earlier in the Elven day! In this tournament, warriors will be randomly selected from the participants to fight against one another, the victor winning three thousand minae! Any are welcome to sign up, so go on now and honor the Huntsman in duel!

The Blood-Fire Forge

The Blood-Fire Forge has been established and announced, led by the Autumn Prince Miklaeil Arvellon. It is essentially a gathering of students training in the forge, and lessons on blacksmithing will be given. The first lesson was given two Elven days ago, which went smoothly. Surely, wonderful things will come from the Forge. The Forge and the Forgemaster look forwards to you joining and learning!

The Sulierir’Elame – Watchers of the Forest

Praise Cernunnos! The Irrinor military has been reworked into what is now known as the Sulierir’Elame. The purpose of such is not only to guard the citizens of Irrinor, you, the reader; but also to serve as a guard to protect Nature and the surrounding forests that we hold so dear. If you are interested in serving such a wonderful cause, please submit an application to an el’Annil.

The Mataliame’Haelun – Branches of the Mother

And praise Cerridwen as well! With the reformed military, the other side of the Aspectual coin has been worked into an Order. And that is the Mataliame’Haelun. Where the Sulierir’Elame would fight and protect through combat and bravery, the Mataliame’Haelun serve and protect the citizens of Irrinor through healing and care taking. If you are interested in serving your nation under the grace of the Mother of Life, please contact the el’Maehr.

Book Recommendation

With each publishing of the newspaper, we will suggest a book available in our library. This will serve as a rating, small summary, and essentially a review of it, to give the average reader direction of where to go in the library. We hope you enjoy this final part of the newspaper layout!

Today I want to recommend a very old series of books that the Naelurir have owned for centuries. There are four books to the collection, and they are written by Guyden Aureon. The packet as a whole is titled “Seasonal Events,” and the four describe the traditional rituals that our ancestors once, and that we continue to, celebrate. These are the Winter and Summer Solstice, as well as the Autumn and Spring Equinox. This first book suggestion will serve as a reminder of the wonderful culture and rites we have sitting within the library. Perhaps one of you readers could take the information from these books, and host a rite on your own!

With that being said, we wish to conclude this newspaper. May the Aspects and Mani bless your path, and may the forests watch over you.

Lyemar Aureon hums softly as his eyes scanned along the lines of text. After several moments of silence as he read, he puts the paper down beside him and speaks softly to himself. “It is good to see the Taliame’onn who manage the library take such initiative to inform everyone of the recent happenings of our realm.”
