To our loyal subjects, and the Ashen Folk as a whole; we apologize. For the past five years, we have left the status of our dear king uncertain in your eyes, and allowed cracks to appear in our state’s political walls. This is to be rectified today; waking briefly from his slumber, King Aroen has declared himself incapable for the foreseeable future. In doing so, he gives his brother the Mortal Prince, Ailmar Velulaei’onn, leadership over the Ashen Folk in indefinite regency. Whilst we pray for Aroen, we must now look to Ailmar for guidance.
