fetty bridgers 4492 Share Posted March 24, 2020 THE END THE END OF MAU’MADUR It was a long night for Ugrad. As he walked through the beast ridden fields of the old city, he noticed the lands around him deteriorating from the effect of time. The old Lur Camp ruined and degraded, the old city consumed by the earth around it after it’s destruction, the rotting storages of the left over supplies from the war. These images clouded the mind of Ugrad, rushing in and out of his head as he glided his hands across the blades of the overgrown grass. The times have surely changed. His past having been destroyed right in front of his eyes as he remembers the impact of the boulders launched by the Orenian siegers. Colliding with the city, sending rubble around him being flung into his friends and allies alike. Clan rivals and friends, being smashed underneath the artillery, the world around Ugrad was falling. Upon all of this destruction, it was time for a change. A change that Ugrad felt would better the orcish race as a whole, the creation of Mau’Madur. As the walls were finally set up, the clans started to pour in. Some old and some new, creating a family among the orcs. Caring for eachother with no conflict in the city to care about. Staying behind the walls of orc and nature, the city carried on day to day. Friends gathering every krug night as orcs return home from their daily journeys. Life here was like a dream for the uruks. Not having to care what bothered them outside of the walls of the city.Whether it be the visits of the dark elves for spiritual worship or just a casual drink, watching the Oxs make creative little things within the city to perform daily tasks or for providing entertainment, fighting off warding raiders, practicing with the nearby militia gathering on the bridge, fighting the swarming pigmy dragons or the killer crocodiles lingering around the gates, the memories continue on and on.Mau’Madur was a creation made just for all of these things, a way for orcs to feel free, do as they wish to better themselves within the city, not have to worry about the fear of wars and being removed from their homes once more. However, things cannot go on forever. As time passed, bonds were made with different groups and individuals between the orcs of Mau’Madur, and the orcs of Krugmar. Vassalization, friendships, dedications, and even lifemates. Finishing his walk in the field, he returns home to await for an arrival. After some time, Skalp finally entered. The usual small talk took place, before getting to the actual topic of the night. Staring off into the setting sky, promises were made between both orcs.On this night, the 7th of the Deep Cold,1760, the following pledges were made. The titles of Mau’Madur in regards to Snagagoth, Zhinigoth, Diplomat, Overseer, Head Shaman, and Kezuhk are all revoked. The city of Mau’Madur shall be razed by the nature around it, claiming the lands that was taken from it. The Mau’Madur people further pledge to take active duty within the new city of Krugmar, doing their best to assist the orcish race. The Mau’Madur people will stand beside the Uniter’s side upon any rising conflict that may rise against him. (( OOC: After some long hard work of keeping the city going, it has taken a toll on some members of the community. Reuniting with Krugmar was a long term goal in the back of our heads that we always had as an option for us in case it ever came to times like these. After finally opening up to some members personally, seeing things for ourselves, and truly seeing the changes that were made in our time away, it opened our eyes to the future to come of the orcish playerbase. We are all sad to see an ending to this amazing community in game, but we will never end the bonded community that will continue on out of game.As for you Mau’Madur orcs reading this, I am sorry if I did not meet your expectations, disappointed you in any way, or pushed you away from the community at some point. Each and everyone of you were an amazing person to have around whether it be through roleplay or in the long nights of hanging out in voice chats playing card games, minigames, or just helping each other get through things. You guys are a life changing mark in the community and I am proud to have been able to do it with you. Who knows, we may be friends forever? I am just glad to have shared this moment with all of you. Thank you, Logan (Qizu). ))
Guzr 2050 Share Posted March 24, 2020 (( I remember a time when I really disliked Mau’madur and it's peoples. We were rivals and the night me and Qizu fought for vassalization was the end of that. I quickly came to realize Mau’Madur's peoples are good-hearted and genuinely cared for my well-being, regardless of blockman politics. I'm sad to see the group end, but we're all still together and can only look forward to a better future.)) The Rex nods, finding a strange melancholic feeling wash over him as the group he once considered his rivals disappeared in name only. Nonetheless, excited started to grow in the orks’ throat for the future; true unification between da boyz.
bookstar 180 Share Posted March 24, 2020 ((I remember when the idea of Mau’Madur cane up. The orc where going through a ruff spot, qizu and I wanted to have a place where some of our close orc player could have a place to rp in peace and not worry about other drama. So we made Mau’Madur after the war with Oren. It was a lot of fun to see our small community grow into a bigger group involving everyone that was near with us. Mau’Madur was the place made me discover my love for running events and bring joy to the community. And I want to say that Mau’Madur helped push krugmar into a good direction and I’m happy to return to a joint orc community.)) Noka’Lur glances around the swamp lands of her old home she grins to herself of fond memories flood her mind. From raising the walls to trying Ugrad strange drink even dealing with the pest of the Pygmy dragons. Every memory held dear in the fe-uruks mind. The orcess would gather her Lur wolf pack and start to settle into the new krugmar city hoping that the memories would keep rolling.
