The title of Mortal King, inherited from the Alderfolk and passed onto my brother Aroen, and then myself. It is a title I took upon myself with hesitation, as not many are content with a Mali’ker naming himself King over anyone. Those Mali that stick to traditions and sees Malin as their only King would wish nothing but to see the failure of anyone who names themselves King.

 

My clan is a line of Archons, not Kings. From Renellic to Aroen to myself, we are not meant to be Kings. What weight does Mortal King hold when it means nothing to my people? I do not wish to be a King, for I am not above my own citizens. I am nothing but one of them, those within Renelia know that well. As times change and shift, so must we. The mantel of Archon has been held in place since the days of Magara’lin. Accountable only to the faithful Mali’ker and stoic Primarchs.

When the form is young, and the mind sharp is the Archon born. No Vindicator, but not so aged and wise to become a Primarch of Magara’lin. It is therefore that Renelia returns back to its roots, and that I shall drop the crown of Mortal King. Just like my father before becoming the Archon of Renelia. Velulaei the first Primarch gave life to the Velulaei’onn.  The spawn of Uradas, the bain of Azul, and follower of Renelia, Velulaei’onns great ancestors watch from the realms beyond. A legacy, larger than life. It is for the will of the ancestors that the Archon rises forth. To secure Magara’lins borders, and above all else. Guiding Mali’ker back to their ancestors.
