V : O most blessed Julia, Mother of the Prophets and our most gentle Queen and Mother, look down in mercy upon the Church in all places, in Oren thy Dowry, but more especially in the missions scattered throughout the world. By thee it was that iblees, the treacherous deceiver, was cast out of our sight, but as yet the world still remains in his ungodly power. Deliver us, then, we pray, from every evil, and embrace all the peoples of the world as thy true children; nourish them, protect them and cloak them in all the virtues, through thy most powerful intercession before God.

MAGNIFICAT (Julia’s Canticle.)

My soul doth magnify the Lord: and my spirit hath rejoiced in God my saviour.

For He hath regarded the humility of His handmaid, for behold from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.

For He that is mighty hath done great things to me: and holy is His name.

And His mercy is from generation unto generations, to them that fear Him.

He hath shewed the might in His arm: He hath scattered the proud in the conceit of their heart.

He hath put down the mighty from their seat and hath exalted the humble.

He hath filled the hungry with good things, and the rich He hath sent empty away.

He hath received Oren His servant, being mindful of His mercy.

As he spoke to my husband, to Horen and his seed FOR EVER.

 

Glory be to the Father, and to Horen, and to all the Saints. 

As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen!

 

V : O God, who didst vouchsafe to give the world joy through the Revelation given unto the Holy Prophets, grant, we beseech thee, that by their intercession, and the intercession of Saint Julia, we may have an increase in all virtues, and may be able to shun all sin, and, in doing so, be able to sing an eternal Magnificat to Thee in heaven with her we take as our spiritual mother and example.

O Queen of the most Holy Rosary, I, thy child, kneel at thy feet to present thee with a bouquet of roses: snow white buds to remind thee of the graces God hath given thee, in humble petition for the virtues with which He hath enriched thy tender heart to the point of overflowing! I despair of nothing that I ask of thy intercession, for I am sure thy prayers will be a help to me, and I with confidence and love beg of thee an increase in all of these virtues.
