A Bloody Blade And A Boy

The human boy could be found curled up, sitting under the desk in the sheriff burrow in Brandybrook, covering for his mouth with his right hand as to not make any noise that could wake anyone up as he stared at the supposed murder weapon of his last real family member. Samuel Gaia’s grieving still wasn’t over. Even if he tried to pretend like it multiple times already.
After some more minutes, Sam removes the hand covering his mouth and picks the blade back up.
“This ain’t real.” He told himself, raising holding the weapon in his right hand by it’s handle and with the blade hovering over his left wrist. “It’s just a nightmare.” He attempted to convince himself, lowering the weapon and piercing his skin only with the tip of the dagger. “Wake up already!”  Sam hesitantly lowered the blade eventually, before making too big a mess to correct. A single drop of blood falls down onto the wooden floor before Samuel sheathes the dagger and crawls up from under the desk.
He exited the burrow and stood in the middle of  the village, glancing over his surroundings quickly, with marks left from tears amongst the dirt and dust on his cheeks and red face. The boy wandered for some more moments before showing up by
Anne Sunbrooks grave, an acid singed shovel in his right hand and a pair of red silk curtains over his left shoulder. He dropped the curtains on the grassy ground and took one step forwards before getting down on his knees. He yawped loudly, miraculously not waking anyone up as he stabbed the ground with the acid-singed shovel that resembled more a blade or the tip of a spear, rather than an actual shovel, then began slashing and digging down with it. The teen finally dropped the shovel, soon digging and scraping up dirt with his bare hands.
Hours have passed and it’s morning, the Gaia is lowering what takes the shape of a body wrapped in beautiful red silk curtains into a meter deep hole in the middle of the white, snowy wasteland of the mountains of Arcas.
“Nobody’s ever gonna harm you again, Anne.” He said out loud, even if he knew nobody could really hear him, before filling the new grave back up, turning around and walking into a cabin door, closing it  behind him.2020-05-20_19.02.17.png
