The family lineage stretched back to the time of Anthos. When the Red Tide receded the Al’Thor family, which had grown notorious in the new realm of Athera, was for the most part destroyed. Head of the family, Rand Al’Thor, was captured and humiliated before being sentenced to death. Only a few of the lesser family members had survived as it fell to ruin and petty crimes. Centuries have passed since the notorious days of the Red Tide and the Al’Thor atrocities. It has been over twenty years since the last birth of a new peasant in the Al’Thor lineage. Disgusting filthy peasant!
