[!] A Private Letter for His Holiness, James II arrives, sent by Theodora Helvets.

@VIROS

To His Holiness, James II,

I write to you, fearing the supernatural  and alarming events happening in Arcas.

The sky has been dark for a month, now. We’ve gone about our lives; but I sense that we all are scared, deep down. They’re holding in their cries, I feel, trying to hold it all together, for their kids, for their spouses. I find myself, wanting to scream out, and berate them for doing nothing; I’ve seen the flashes of colour in the sky. The war only makes it worse.

I pray for my cousin, John Helena, who I believe is fighting on the front of the war. I grow paranoid, day after day, what if I get kidnapped, once more? I’ve heard they’re doing worse things to those in captivity, now. I’ve lived a life of safety; up until this point. I lived within the walls of the Varoche Palace, or the Novellen Palace, I’ve talked with my cousins, throwing small tea parties in the Novellen, I catched frogs by the river outside of Owynsburg, I had a plethora of books I would read.

I don’t find myself reading them, but rather I find myself studying the Holy Scrolls.

I like the Waldenian Phrase, “Fromm in Gebet”, Your holiness, I find it applies to me. It means “Pious in Prayer”.

I find myself compelled to become a nun, one day, Your Holiness.

Faithfully,

Theodora Helvets
