LUMEN DEI

THE LORD’S GLOW

10th of Godfrey’s Triumph

When times of turmoil and hardship come marching to our doorsteps like rolling thunder clouds it is common for men, women and children to pray to the Lord for deliverance from such suffering and sometimes people lose faith when they receive no indicative response to their prayers. It is known that the Denier is the bringer of evil, most foul and creatures most decrepit and unholy, but should we simply turn our gaze away in ignorance to these evils that exist in our realm for surely GOD will deliver us from such evil?

It is only natural and right to pray for GOD’s guidance when evil enters our lives but it is not right to abandoned ones faith when one does not receive a response for GOD creatures means to test our faith every day through various difference means, sometimes it is beings of evil or troubling times when abandoning one's faith and joining the other side seem to be the easier thing to do. Even now as the demons of the Denier have taken Al-Faiz, should our prayers to the Lord be begging for him to stop the encroaching demons or should it be for him to bless and guide our actions into victory or another path that he has given us. I believe it is wrong for a canonist to have the expectation that GOD is there to stop evil, to shower us with earthly gifts and punish the wicked. The Lord vanquishes incomprehensible evil such as Iblees himself, he showers us with love, affection and guidance; things that the most devout of followers would cherish and live off alone.

The Lord’s love and guidance can be seen in all things, all new inventions being created every day, new plants being discovered for healing. I believe it is acceptable to ask the Lord to offer us wisdom, guidance and courage. GOD is not there to pluck us up from a time of hardship and place us back down when such a time is over, that is for us to do ourselves, it is our task and GOD-given duty to perform. That is why I encourage all faithful to find love for GOD even when it seems your prayers go unanswered for he is always there, in all things creatures, surrounding you with his love and warmth. Even when it seems your prayer has gone unanswered you should keep faith because either your prayer was demanding too much of the Lord or his answer is something you have not yet realised.

Keep the faith, brothers and sisters. Ride out the blizzard of confusion and turmoil for the Lord will see us through even the most difficult of times, as history has shown us he will not let us completely succumb to annihilation.

GOD bless and love to all!

Friar Boniface’s tract passes over the High Pontiff’s desk while he is meeting with the Archbishop of Jorenus. “I’m pleased to see the Friar writing again—particularly about this topic.”

"Some prayers are unanswered, but no prayer is unheard. God's will is inevitably done. I do not pray to change God's will to my will, but my will to God's." Says Pius, reading the tract.
