Silvyr Uradir’s Resignation

 

 

 

[!] A missive is stapled to the bulletin board with an Uradir Butterfly used as a stamp to keep it hung tightly on the wall of notices. The words were crafted with fine penmanship, fit for the renowned Uradir Talonnii. Posted for all to see, it would easily be noticed when standing in the square and the news from the missive would spread throughout the city quickly. 

 

 

Citizens of Haelun’or,

 

I reluctantly announce my resignation from Okarir’maehr. In the past few years I have let the city down with the lack of lectures. Although this writing contest was meant to make amends for my absence, I feel it was not enough and thus it is time for me to hand off the mantle to the next worthy Okarir’maehr, whoever the republic decides it should be. I have recently found my hands full with two children, my wife, and my commitment to the Azdrazi/Mali’thill alliance and partnership. And I will choose to focus on such and lead the efforts of bringing our two cultures together, for the sake of Maehr’sae Hiylun’ehya. To me, in Larihei’s vision we were always meant to find the next step towards purity. Infinite life and greater physical power and greater physical appearance. So, I will continue to study the Azdrazi and Azdromoth alike, hoping to bring a greater age for our people. 

 

I would like to thank my wife Amberleigh, for being my greatest supporter from the day I ran for Okarir’maehr, to the day I resign. She has been a wonder in my life, bringing me joy beyond belief. I have changed greatly in her presence and through our continued prosperous relationship. She has made great sacrifices for me, and I can not thank her enough for all of them. I would also like to thank my children, for being a shining light in my life. They are the reason I continue to live today, and continue to study diligently for their future and mine. Although my days of being on the council are marked over as of now, I will continue to reside in the Silver City, with my successful Talonnii. It has been a dream come true to serve the state as an Okarir’maehr, I thank you all for giving me the opportunity, attending my lectures, and continuing to have a love for knowledge.
