OOC:

Hello there!
This is an event designed to simulate a single day of halfling life as best as possible.

Everybody starts at the beginning of the hour, having just woken up. Their characters then go about their day as they would IRP, eventually falling back to sleep at the end of the hour, which ends the event. Working, eating, talking, and other things your character typically does in a day can and should be roleplayed. There will be a single roleplay prompt happening during the hour to promote interaction, but attending it isn’t mandatory. Feel free to do as you wish.

The intention isn’t to attract a large quantity of halflings into one location at a time, but rather to create as much immersion as possible.

SoL Event Checklist (Optional):

-Wake up ( )
-Eat something ( )

-Do some task ( )

-Interact with someone ( )

-Eat another thing ( )

-Go to sleep ( )

RP:

[!] The seeds planted earlier by the weefolks now grows thick and plentiful... it seems that harvest time has finally come! Furthermore, a note is pinned to the Noticeboard.

”Calling upon Gaffer Hamfast for a proper prayer for this year’s harvest. We’ll be needing to to make sure we get plenty for feasting later! After we’ve finished with this all, we can have a bit of a fire if we wish! The ol’ fire pit I prepared for my wedding has yet to be used, and I think this is a fine opportunity!”

[!] A large quantity of cake is found on the Olive Garten feasting table...

Before the forests Aegrothond and Siramenor were razed and decimated, Hoppy would merrily hum to himself post-harvest, sitting atop a pile of haybales and freshly picked gourds and vegetables. He’d throw one leg over his other, lazily throwing his head back as he splayed himself across the abundant bounty, much like a king atop his throne.

“Quite teh good ‘arvest t’is toime ‘round!” he’d exclaim, rolling about atop the pumpkins, carrots, and such, steeping in his joy and glory, with little knowledge of what was to come about post-harvest.
