It is the will of his Majesty, Koeng Josef I, that the Royal Duma go through unprecedented changes to reform the institution to better be fit for purpose to serve the needs of the Crown of Hanseti-Ruska and it’s people. Thusly, the last iteration of the Royal Duma of Koeng Marius is to be dissolved at the behest of Koeng Josef I, to make way for a new age of legal institutions and infrastructure within our Kingdom. The citizenry of Hanseti-Ruska are thus called to nominate themselves to the five elected offices within the next three months by submitting the below ballot to the Office of the Palatine at the Ekaterinburg Palace. The offices which citizens can nominate themselves for are those of the Royal Alderman and the Tribune for the Duma, and Grand Maer to manage the city.

 

Royal Alderman

The Royal Alderman is elected as the most popular representative of the Haeseni people as a whole by majority vote and tasked with giving voice to their constituents within his Majesty’s Royal Duma by proposing and shaping legislative bills.

 

Tribune

Similar to the Royal Alderman, the Tribune is elected as a popular candidate by majority vote, but their responsibility is to be the chief representative for the common folk of Hanseti-Ruska within His Majesty’s Royal Duma by proposing and shaping legislative bills. As such, a candidate for Tribune must be of common birth.

 

Grand Maer

Grand Maer of New Reza The Grand Maer is elected by majority vote to represent the Haeseni people in the Office of the Seneschal and assumes the duties of management of the city’s social institutions such as overseeing the tavern, the cultivation of new businesses and economic growth within New Reza and the regular organization of city events. They do not sit on the Duma.

 

 

In order to vote, citizens are required to have a permanent residence within the Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska.

In this election, Three Tribune, Two Aldermen, and One Maer shall be elected.

Each voter may vote for their top three Tribune, top two Aldermen, and top Maer candidates.
