mateolog 1550 Share Posted November 14, 2020 The Green Collective Act For too long has our nature blessed folk lived subordinate to the will of those that are not like us, and that do not represent us. The time has come for us to create a place to call home. To this end, Karl Blackroot, High Chief of Hefrumm, will form the Green Collective so that the folks living in its lands can follow their ways in peace under protection of Hefrumm’s laws. In our case as bryophites/epiphytes/sporophytes we will have our Fae Garden, a place that currently is home to 5 Fae Plants/Shrooms. With this we will be able to choose through a fair and democratic government where those like us will be able to choose the best path for the betterment of the lives of those like us. Under this collective we can support the hopes and aspirations of our members, allowing them to develop more with us than alone. To join the collective send a bird to Hefrumm’s Chiefs’ Council Room (mateolog#1400). We will make sure your tree is planted and protected. If one ever wishes to leave the collective they can, as freedom is our main policy. The lands of the Green Collective will fall under Hefrumm jurisdiction, but the group will be allowed self-rule in that territory. Hefrumm formally welcomes any and all Bryophites/Epiphytes, treants, and satyrs. Groups of these beings have the ability to ask to join the collective as a group, making the process faster as the whole group would be accepted or denied by the council. In case of the latter the group/individual can ask again after one year (one week) has passed. Basic tenants to join the collective: Tolerate differing opinions Respect the Balance of Nature Respect the Dwarven Faith Do not bring suffering to those like you Accept the rule of the collective Obey the laws of the Land of Hefrumm. Rights ensured by Hefrumm: Right to be protected from physical harm and persecution Right to work in Hefrumm Right to trade Right to Parent Right to Ancestry (An individual has the ability to identify as the race they were born in) Right to vote for a representative of the collective in the Folk’s Council (1 Vote). This is the will of the Folk of Hefrumm. ((OOC: If interested or want information/comment privately message mateolog#1400 ))
tea with Gwyn 217 Share Posted November 14, 2020 Ga'zow the treant couldn't read and as such unfortunately ignored the missive. Perhaps fate would lead it and its Slumber Tree to such safety in new lands.
Valannor 6342 Share Posted November 14, 2020 would slowly awaken from its new perch near the roads to Urguan. One of the small fleshlings, Dar-inn-drah-boor, had been very kind to it as of lately, feeding and watering the young treant in his off-time. As the natural ichor pumped throughout its body, the seedling would grumble... Another notice had been plastered to its skull. Clawing it off, the seedling would eat the parchment, unrooting itself and beginning to plod its way back into the forests outside of Urguan. Perhaps its friend would visit later, but for the time being, the treant resolved itself to go rest inside of its tree some more. It was nap time, after all.
