[!] Anticipation was palpable after the contentious mayoral elections of Providence - with it taking months before they were conceded at a meeting of the Commonwealth Club. In circulation though would go a poem, to put to writing and settle the issue. Should you secure a copy, it'd read as follows! [!]

Consider this thanks to you from me,

Our task was as arduous as one could be,

But we must move on and say “c’est la vie!”

 

We have created a space to wag your chin,

Tell me - do you believe in fate or fortune?

 

For if this was fated then who’d really mind,

Many dig deeper, hoping for the next great find,

They writhe and tary in a silly bind!

 

From here we venture forth as the source,

Together we have become a force,

Akin to a meandering river that determines the course.

 

Good friends, allow me a confession,

This poem simply details my concession.

 

Allow this one issue to rest,

For few thoughts are needed to have guessed,

These sorts of beginnings often herald Oren’s best!
