First Entry

I just bought this book from a book store as I feel I need to write things down to clear my mind.... These last couple days I have been feeling a bit... weakened.... and today I have found out why. The 6 sages who have been en-trusted to protect these lands from the great darkness know as the undead have left this world. I have no reasons to think of why they did as I have been stationed in the Dwarven Kingdom, my homeland, to protect my fellow dwarven brothers and sister from the blight. I had a dream last night.... It was of Aerial telling me that "No matter what happens my son, don't give up hope. I shall always be there protecting you and Aegis.".... that's all that I remember..... I shall never give up hope in this land as I have traveled to many parts of it from the southern Elf Kingdoms to the far north where the undead live and roam, and there is great beauty and people to protect. I shall never leave and will rather die trying.

I fear though.... my magic is fading. Even though at small amounts. My staff still shines with fine dwarven gold. My brothers and sisters of Aerial are lost and leaderless... we need to reunite and discuss on what our future plans shall be. The sages, before they left, told me and a few others they felt something fearsome coming from the north and that a new land has been found. I'm not sure what these words meant but since the undead have been in hiding I think they have been storing up strength to attack in full force and try to take over this land once and for all..... this cannot happen as long as I still live.

May Aerial protect me....

Entry Two

I have found out today my guesses were right. Let this journal be a record of the beginning of the end. Undead are coming stronger then ever... I'm scared for the people of Aegis. How many will die? Aerial comes to me in my sleep saying the same thing as before... "don't give up hope" "I shall forever protect Aegis". I shall beleive her. I'm searching for my lost Ascended brothers and sisters..... I have heard of some and I shall find them one day, hopefully soon. I have warned King Algrim of the sages abandonment. I told him to get ready for something big coming and that the dwarves should get ready. The Legion was brought back by Lord Marshall Braveaxe.

I shall warn the other races leaders as soon as I can.
