The monsters returned to their wretched caves with full bellies and content minds that they had stolen from us and gotten away with it. They had paid a price in blood for this thievery, for a number of these creatures dead at our gates, yet now the time will soon come again to fight back. 

 

For a number of years before their hibernation, the Beasts of the Rimeveld had grown bolder with their raids. First, they took from our farms, then our granaries, and then finally attempted access to the city itself. After their farming ability was hampered, they have sought to come down from their mountains to steal from us. When they returned to their slumber, we were given reprieve. The time shall soon come again that we are forced to fight these trolls for there is no doubt they will be hungry. 

 

Let this serve as a warning to our kingdoms vassals to stock what wheat they can into their granaries, as well as to prepare pitch, which has been effective in halting their advance before. For those that have useful information on the Rimeveld trolls or want more information, make yourself found at the council in the ballroom of Nikirala Palace.
