Following the newly eventful display of the Sarissan party, under the Countess Fae. A demand within a letter was presented towards the Sutican Monarch which listed many concerns from the Sarissian people, which we will be addressing below. These concerns led the Monarch to summon a collection of people to sit down both with the Monarch and Countess Fae, to discuss the letter addressed to himself to understand the troubles of this respected vassal. This formal sit-down lasted a while, with both parties discussing terms and coming to an agreement of change. Change has to be enforced by the Monarch and his loyalists alongside those of the Sarissian people and those within the Realm of Greater Sutica.

Government Reformations

 

In recent times an issue became evident with the Sutican Government, the great nations leading body held no strong sense in leadership, in pride. The same faces returned to clean the nation, both in times of suffering and times of peace. But these faces which have always been returned and given a seat upon the council haven’t returned and a new body of power was created based on the scraps of what Sutica had to offer. The Monarch struggling to maintain the nation’s government as Ministers came and stepped down, now times have changed and stability is finally within Sutica. Allowing for a longer-term, more effective plan as well as a dedicated leading body for Sutica to be created and enforced.

 

The Great Reshuffle

 

The Great Reshuffle entails a very simple concept: the complete restructure of the upper and lower government to be as efficient as possible without much of the bureaucratic process is present. This restructure will be as simple as it sounds to remove, move or possibly even add to the Sutican government while not many might agree within the government itself, it is needed to progress the state and it has been put off for a fair while too long.

 

We will change from a system of the monarch overseeing all the ministries and departments individually and entirely, the departments will be moved underneath one of the three main ministries; The Ministry of the People, The Ministry of Defense, and The Ministry of Finances. All other currently, existing ministries either being converted to departments or having their duties transferred to an already existing department. In this reshuffle department, directors will be losing their councillor status, and a new system for councillors will be introduced.

 

With the changes within the Sutican Government, the old Triumvirate will be reintroduced to the Government to a lesser extent. With each member of the triumvirate overseeing an individual minister or any others assigned. The triumvirate's responsibilities will be to make sure the minister is fulfilling all their duties as well as being an advisor to the trade monarch directly.

 

Vassals

 

Vassals have been granted a very lenient agreement by the current Trade Monarch, only needing them to pay taxes for the land and developing what they held. This System allowed for more independence from the state and its councillors while maintaining decent relations, though this system did not force growth and only made the vassal leaders more lenient to their progress. Change is expected within the ongoing future of the development of Sutica as a whole, change within the capital leads to change outwards to the vassals. New requirements will be made.

 

The increase in contribution

 

This Increase, while not immediate, will be needed to put more pressure on the vassals and most likely not increase their monetary contribution, but rather in other forms. The forms discussed are potential ways to contribute in addition to the payment of wealth each year, which includes a minimum amount of manpower needed to contribute to the Cerulean Army and resources that aren’t as common in the capital as they are in the vassal locations.

 

Pressure

 

The slow progress of particular vassals had been given more resources to work further with and the help needed, though the leadership of these vassals had been subpar to get up to speed for their development to be done. towns and cities being left in a half-built state at the southern borders of Sutica, laying empty and barely and progress is hard to even with this help from the Sutican government who have their projects to tend to. Sanctions are to be introduced to those who fail to keep up with what they promised to do, being given a time limit for every project they wish to tackle. At worst this can mean the vassalage shall be revoked by the monarch or protection of the lands to be pulled.

 

The Purge of the Dark Mages

 

Under the recent discovery of dark mages located within the State of Sutica and the information which was given within the meeting of the two parties, it has come to the attention of the Monarch that this issue isn’t being handled correctly by that of the Minister of Defense. This scourge is forcing the Monarch to take an official standpoint when that of the Minister-in-charge of defending the State is unable to take words, claims into account which would breach Sutican security. The official public statement of the Monarch, Mika Uialben is one of the hostile actions and to remove the filth of these dark mages and all which is unholy from the State as a whole. Effective immediately.

The Countess of the isle slowly begins to accompany her farmers toward the dock; as they wrap and load bales of hay onto their merchant vessels, as well as burlap sacks of mina, for their returning taxes. Proudly, and with a nod- the Countess looked outward to the now calm waters, she felt as if good things were to come from this- and once more the isle falls in line.
