CasualNuker 1113 Share Posted April 9, 2021 [!] A letter is pinned to the bulletin board of the city of Providence and hung on the doors of the Alpina Club and Restaurant. Good Day my fellow citizens. I’m sure you’ve heard of me Edith Castington, formerly Edith Hope. I’ve been in City Assembly before for a period of eight years, ran for Mayor twice losing respectively to Lord Mayor Halcourt. I now seek to be elected to a non-consecutive third term in the Office of Alderwoman. Some of my previous notable accomplishments include the Orphanage Act of 1805, and organizing the first ever Tax Relief Bill which was passed by a margin of 5-2 but never signed into law by the Lord Mayor. I have many great plans that could be enacted such as my ten percent plan lowering taxes for residential properties by 10%. Lowering taxes for the citizens of Providence should boost the economy resulting in the purchase of more goods and possibly opening a business of their own. This will stimulate the economy to continue growth! My MOJ plan which guarantees that the Ministry of Justice can’t illegally search you or your property. This plan will make sure that everyone has the basic right to privacy in their own residence or business! No man or woman in this city should ever fear the Constable Force of Oren but yet some do because of the issues that arise with growing a sector of the government. Passing laws that show the Constables what they can and can’t do in the Capital City will ensure that our populace is safe and well informed. I also call for reforms to the City Assembly to have it make a more meaningful impact upon the city and her people. These reforms include the formation of an 8th seat so that every two years we have four seats up for election. My reforms also call for the Deputy Mayor to have a tie-breaking vote in the event of a tie. As always I pledge my campaign to God and will seek to have a prayer spoken over the City Assembly before every meeting so that we work with Gods guidance. Some may not agree with my politics or how I’ve previously done things in this office. But I assure you this every time I sit in the City Hall I think of how I can better the lives of the Citizens in our lovely capital city. You the people are the backbone of our city. Spoiler As for remarks I made regarding my sister to enlist in either the ISA or the MOJ, I do believe she is a good person at heart I truly care for her. It’s a shame how low you’ve gone now it seems.”
