The Noble Feast at the Novellen [circa. 1729]

To promote a feeling of unity and comradery among our ever expanding empire, the palace invites families of high standing and nobility to a night of games and food within the Augustine Palace to celebrate the new Emperor, John VIII and the upcoming social season. As we have done a multitude of times in the past, the idea first put into fruition by Empress-Mother Cesarina Louise, the peers of the empire will gather on the last night of the year to celebrate such a joyous year we have had and the compelling years we are sure to have in the future.

TIMETABLE

I. The Feast-

To commence the assembly a grand meal will be served to everyone in attendance by the Augustine’s superb staff of servants.

II. The Dance-

After the feast has concluded a dance will commence within the grand ballroom of the Augustine where peers may choose to dance with one another while the imperial minstrels play the Empire's finest pieces. Whilst the dancing goes on, the Majordomo of the Augustine will judge the dancers and a duo of winners will be announced after the dancing portion of the event has concluded

III. Petitions of the Crown-

As events of this caliber have always unfolded, the crown will sit for petitions from his noble court. This is where any member of any noble family may ask His Imperial Majesty whatever he or she wishes.

All nobles and gentry of the Holy Orenian Empire are urged to attend.
