I like your idea. And no, we don't have social castes, we have army ranks. I think certified Shamans should also get a colour. It's a nice way to show your achievements. :)

This is an orc burrow. It would most likely be used as standard housing. It's a basic model with a lot of room for customization that each individual orc can do. I think it really suits orcish architecture. I think it looks good while also having a functional setup. The outside is supposed to look varied for the visual appeal, but the inside more towards functionality. I've used the iron bars to make it look like they're rivets that hold the pieces together. The wood is supposed to be like supports. Because it's a burrow it's hard to capture the concept in just a few screenshots but I've done my best.

I personally love the idea of burrows. It makes sense in the desert. Underground is cooler than above ground!

I still think that large cities should be made from sandstone. It sort of makes it feel like the city was carved out of a mountain and gives it some grandeur. The huts look cool, but I can't imagine a large collection of huts being a city.

I'm actually kind of thinking of the Sarranid style cities from M&B. They have their moulded houses and then often have little tarps that hang over the side.
