Tentoa 3161 Share Posted August 9, 2021 The Hirano Initiative From Chancellor Candidate Nanako Hirano Published on 15th of Sun’s Smile, Year 36 SA My fellow citizens, I have made Yong Ping my home for over fifteen years, and in that time I have served as Aid to The Minister of Education, Assistant Steward, Advisor to the Meishu of the Ishiguntai and finally Meishu proper. I have watched our city grow and done my part to alleviate the housing crisis, maintain our relationship with Krugmar alongside my late aunt, contributed personal funds to the rebuilding of our city after the recent disaster, taken an interest and found the best and brightest scholar I could to fill the role of the Minister of Education, and now I have taken it upon myself to seek higher station that I might do more good for my fellow citizens of the Jade State. I am here today to announce that I seek the seat of Chancellor within our glorious state. I feel what Yong Ping needs now is social and commercial reform above aught else, I agree with Chancellor Tianrui’s proposal of the joining of religion and state however as we have seen a need for economic stimulation in our city I propose we lift the ban on foreign missionaries as without entrance into the temples of Yong Ping they cannot join the higher ministries of our city. I argue that the nature of our state since Its inception of Tai Ping has been a refuge from misunderstanding, persecution, ignorance, and a station in the pursuit of equality and the survival of our heritage. Just as Oyashima and Cathant before us we must adapt to the winds of change and bend lest we break and blow away.I have no doubt as to the qualifications of Chancellor Tianrui Ren as our future Zhu and can think of no better person for the job than he. Duhu Tianrui serves both honorably and valiantly and has thus far expressed no official interest in the position of chancellor leading me to conclude that he does not seek to replace Chancellor Tianrui. We find ourselves in a grim present but I see hope for a bright future, with no mud there can be no lotus. Immediate Measures - The Establishment of a public library and the appointment of a capable minister of education. - An updated and more comprehensive judicial system. - Repeal of anti-missionary laws and new safeguards to preserve our traditional faiths. - Ready access to trade training and education for citizenry and YPA personnel. Long-Term Goals - Oversee land expansion of Yong Ping. - Economic and population Growth. - Set the groundwork for future judicial adjustments as necessary. Moo_bot 775 Share Posted August 9, 2021 Nanako Hirano is both capable and holds only the best interests of Yong Ping at heart. She has proven such with her dedication to the people already- both in her own mentioned past actions as well as current monetary support, material donation, and personal service put forward to the community of Yong Ping. It is with full confidence that I endorse her campaign for run as Chancellor. I am Patriarch Tianrui Ren and I endorse this message.
tadabug2000 4924 Share Posted August 10, 2021 Nanako has become someone those of Yong Ping could look to during this time of crisis. She'd provide fresh blood and new eyes to the system, allowing us to fix things we might not otherwise see from our close work with each case for so long. The Chens are watching to see just where she goes with this and gives their endorsement for a prosperous Jade State and future.
