Little Gwyn Buckfort asks a member of the household staff to help her write an open letter to her brother.

Dear Oisin, that's my big brother,

I miss you. Papa said you got mad and took Miss Diona away. I miss her, too. She said she was gonna get me some pajamas like her's, too.

Please come home and tell Papa you're sorry. He's been so sad and bad things are happening. I'm not allowed to play outside the gates anymore. Papa said if people come on horses they'll kill me.

Tell him I'm scared. And want him to come to a tea party with me.

Okay that's all.

Oh! Sign it Princess Gwyn Buckfort

A letter finds its way to Rozania with the sigil of a golden rose.

To my dearest little Sister Gwyn Buckfort,

My heart aches to be away from you, but sadly the circumstances which have been occurring make it unlikely for my return any time soon. I am aware of the public Rozanian opinion towards me, and I fear that if I were to return I would be offered no mercy for what I have done. Regardless, I want you to know that I love you my beloved Sister, and I urge you to follow your Fathers advice and stay in doors. Should anything happen to you, I would be inconsolable.

As for my beloved fiancee Diona Fleurgrass, I wish for you to know she is currently safe and sound within the walls of Sedan, and we are even to be wed soon. However, I will tell her that you miss her.

Signed,

Oisin Roza.
