To Seek Scholarship - Study in Caer Raywyn
 

As the county of Caer Raywyn slowly grows, the time comes at last for the proper introduction of one of the most fundamental Elvish traditions into its core structures and foundations: the use of the Arcane and Alchemical Arts. A time honored Elven study involving the honing of the mind, such that it might be exerted upon the natural world to create and enchant wonders otherwise unattainable by mortal hands.

 

It is with pleasure that I, the Tahu’tir of Caer Raywyn and The Ivory Wizard, hereby announce to those living in Caer Raywyn and greater Savoy the offer of scholarship into the Arcane Arts. 

 

A planned 20-25 year program will see those who are taken under be brought up to the level of mastery to which I have achieved with my own studies. The requirements to gain such a seat at Caer Raywyn are as follows:
 

• One must be a descendant of Elven, Human, Dwarven, or Kharajyr descent.

 

• One must attend an interview with me, Maehr’ir Dovian and answer my questions to a satisfactory level. Only the best will be chosen, and so applicants are advised to bear in mind that failure is within the realm of possibility.

 

• One must remain on the campus of Caer Raywin under the direct supervision of the manor staff until such a time that their lessons have progressed to a satisfactory level.

 

• Payment for scholarship and residence at the school will be made through services rendered throughout the estate during the process of tuition. Failure at any time to contribute to the college manor will be met with either financial demand or expulsion depending on severity of neglect.

 

Applicants may be relieved to hear that, upon their selection, room and board will be freely given at the estate. I look forward to teaching and learning from you all.
