What we are witnessing is a schism. A butting of heads between the Holy Orenian Empire, which being the esteemed Exalted Godfrey’s Empire, and the Church of the Canon. This is a dispute of unparalleled proportions. There are claims of the High Pontiff’s inaction, which may be true. There are claims of the High Pontiff scheming and colluding with our enemies, but to which there is no evidence to suggest such a powerful accusation. 

 

The disgraced Christoff, declared himself to be God’s most true and faithful serviceman which is an utmost sin to declare himself in the first place. It is a sin against God to be the judge of your own virtue, as Christoff did, and it is a sin to use this claim for his aspiration to greatness among men, as Christoff did. He has affronted God with his sin by committing sacrilege in his priestly office as Bishop. Now, Christoff has proclaimed himself the High Pontiff with zero authority. He has committed further sacrilege by attempting to dismantle God’s Church, which has existed since the time of Horen, with his proclamation. He has broken Canon Law by attempting to dethrone the true High Pontiff through illegitimate means as the only way for a High Pontiff to be removed is through the College of Cardinals. Christoff’s disregard for this shows that he has no respect for the Church, no respect for God, but only for his pride, envy, and support of Iblees. Christoff is an illegitimate High Pontiff, he is an illegitimate Canonist, and he should be put to death for his sacrilege against God, the Exalted, and the Holy Mother Church. 

 

The Emperor’s support for Christoff is nothing more than blasphemous and a sacrilege to the holy office he holds, which being the throne of the Exalted Godfrey. He has been led astray by dark forces and excommunicated because of such, but with proper re-education he can be restored of his piety and virtue that the faithful Canonists of Godfrey’s Empire deserve. 

 

Rise against the false High Pontiff. Stand with the legitimate High Pontiff, Everard VI.

Stand with God. Stand with the Church of the Canon.
