Since the groundbreaking success of her work nearly five years ago, HIH Catherine Anastasia of Furnestock has since endeavored to hone her skills as an artist. The events which have transpired since have provided her with the inspiration for a new batch of artwork, which shall be auctioned off at the Imperial Tuvmas Festival of Providence in a single Saint’s Day. 

 

Several of these works have also been pre-framed, ready and able to be hung in homes and parlors throughout the Empire. Others come without, but can be made for such purposes.

 

Furthermore, 100% of proceeds from this special Tuvmastime auction will be donated by the Princess Imperial to the Imperial Treasury to make the soldiers of Oren more comfortable during the holiday season!

PAINTING #1: “The Return”

 

"This portrait is based off of a sketch given to me by one of the ladies of the court. It depicts the jubilant return of my parents, the Duke and Duchess of Furnestock, to the imperial city of New Providence. As their procession marches through Victory Bridge, a regiment of ISA soldiers can be seen offering a salutatory greeting to the monarchs."

"This second portrait is based off of another sketch drawn by one of the fabulous women of the imperial courts. It depicts the coronation of Emperor Philip III and Empress Anastasya of Kositz. Everard VI performs the ceremony in the background."

"This majestic painting is based off of a sketch which I myself drew. The moon, hanging high in the night sky, illuminates the gardens of Aster Hall. Emperor Philip III, to the right, has risen to his feet to perform a toast. Empress Anastasya can also be seen standing before the archway to the far left. Light from the imperial apartments embodies the occasion with a cheery aura."

PAINTING #4: “The Fogs of Providence”

 

"This was the first landscape painting that I have ever drawn of New Providence. Based on a sight which I saw while flying in a hot air balloon above the city, the silhouette of the Basilica of the Argentate Star looms over the Princewood. Rain and fog characterize the scene, giving a mysterious and curious feeling to those beholding the painting."

"This is a painting which I drew of a tree situated at the center of the magical community of Moongate, located in the far northwest of the city of New Providence. Paper lanterns hover around the tree as a self-propelled broom sweeps the street in the background."
