Reap what you Sow

A traitorous man begs for his life before the Empress.

 

Is it so true that traitors never change? That once you betray someone you can never be trusted again? Perhaps one would be inclined to disagree with such - yet look no further than that of Leopold de Joannes, the man who once turned on Oren for a mere slice of land. 

 

It was not long ago - some mere three months now that this man crawled back into the Orenian courts, once more making demands so that he could turncoat on his new landlords. Three months ago this thing crawled through the halls of Oren, so ready to betray the Dwed that he even offered the swords of his citizens - and yet he did not expect the Emperor’s ability to judge character.

 

And so this man who made demands now cried out in the halls - shouting that Oren so needed him and his traitorous dogs. Yet in a swift moment of justice he was brought down - a hammer struck so deep into his skull that the echo was heard at the dance above. His body fell limp and so he was dead, once traitor now corpse.

 

 

Let it be known that his true intentions were seen that day as he begged for his life, and for an upgraded plot of land and title. 

 

Let this be a reminder that as history shows true, these dogs will be evicted from their Orenian lands once again.
