Narthok 10416 Share Posted March 25, 2022 The Laurentina Affair During negotiations with the Haense guards regarding the security of my wife a member of our party fired an unwarranted crossbow bolt which severely wounded one of the Haense soldiers. This was a dishonourable act, we may have been at war. But the meeting was under the auspice of peace and the aggression from this fellow was entirely unwarranted. As I pen this letter he is currently being whipped in the town square and will be losing a hand once his punishment has concluded. This is clearly insufficient to satiate the wrong that has been committed. A sum of one thousand mina will be paid to the family of the aggrieved or to the Haenser state, (whichever is preferable) as compensation. Should the Haenseni Soldier in question die of their wounds. 1_Language_1 1671 Share Posted March 25, 2022 Ser Abraham remains immobilized in the clinic, his Atronach arm flickering ever so faintly under his chainmail, as if it was an indicator of an uncertain fate that was doomed no matter the outcome.
