THE ATRUSIAN TOURNEY

It is ordinary for foes to clash, but it is respectable for brothers and acquaintances to duel each other in front of the world. Those who are masters of the blade are the living embodiment of great men such as Exalted Godfrey, Emperor John III and so on. The humankind has grown accustomed to the chivalrous traditions, often this being the sole reason for one’s elevation into nobility. Therefore, we deem proper to arrange a festivity celebrating such. Let it be known through the lands of Almaris to each and every that they are hereby invited to attend and represent themselves and their dynasty. The duels of honour shall occur at Atrus’s square. Before the commencement all participants shall be sorted in order as the event initiates, the spectators shall be offered refreshments and drinks by the tavern keepers or palatial staff. Let us rejoice in celebration of the old, and let it be known there shall be only one victor.
