The Aetius Observation: The Kindest Place in Almaris??

As always, first I want to thank you my readers, because I know without you all reading this I would just be talking into the void.

 

Let me tell you, if you are looking for a nice place to kick back, have a drink and be surrounded by good folk, Vistulia is your place. It has more charm than a scantily dressed wood elf woman.

 

Immediately upon entering I was offered a seat at the bustling tavern and a drink so strong it nearly dropped me right then and there. I managed to maintain a conversation while drinking a glass of vodka that hit harder than an Olog. Speaking of Olog's, I met some kid who killed an Olog by chucking a butter knife at it. Velimir if you're out there, please seek help, wanton murder is not okay. Even if it is an Olog. Sorry to any of my orcish readers, please take no offense. He seems like a good kid, even if he had dirt under his finger nails.

 

So anyways, when these people aren't living it up in the tavern apparently they all meet up once a year to discuss everything going on. I was told all this by the solemn bartender in the back named Renna. She was friendly as could be, offered me enough food to feed me for a week. Managed to get a smile or two out of her, but something bugged her and I cannot tell what. Anyways, I had to leave pretty quickly but not before I was told about these big parties they throw and discuss the direction the village is going in. They are lead by a Piast, who apparently is not a tyrant but actually listens to the whole village.

 

If you're looking for a place to relax, enjoy the slower parts of life, Vistulia seems like your go to. Next time they have one of these shindigs I will go there and give you all the lowdown of what sounds like the wildest party in all of Almaris.
