JoshBright 3016 Share Posted August 27, 2022 Strewardy, Seed and Housing Reform Act 17th of The First Seed, 91 SA Prelude The stewardary office of Amaethea has been in a gradual state of disrepair and decline with a lack of stewards, the ledure being out of date, and the office suffering from disorganization. In addition, the guidelines and requirements for seeds have been lost. This act is meant to be a remedy to that. Stewards & Taxes The Head-Steward The Head-Steward is responsible for managing the office of the Steward, Selling Housing, The appointment of a Deputy, The hiring of new Stewards, Aiding in the coordination & running of events, and helping new citizens get settled in. In addition, the Head-Steward is one of two people who are allowed to collect the weekly taxes. The Deputy-Steward The Deputy-Steward is responsible for aiding the Head-Steward in managing the office of the Steward, Selling Housing, The hiring of new Stewards, Aiding in the coordination & running of events, and helping new citizens get settled in. In addition, the Deputy-Steward is one of two people who are allowed to collect the weekly taxes. Steward Stewards are responsible for Selling houses, Aiding in the coordination & running of events and helping new citizens get settled in. Coordinator Coordinators are responsible for running and helping make events for the citizens of Amaethea. Steward Payment Houses - For every house sold the steward that sold the house will be given 15 mina for their service to the crown. Events - Upon the completion of a successful large-scale event the crown may use its discretion to pay the event coordinator for their services. Tax Collection Taxes will be collected every year on the month of Sun’s Smile, for those who fail to pay taxes the following will be implemented: 1 week missed - must pay the regular tax price 2 weeks missed - must pay the regular tax price + 5 mina late fee 3 weeks missed - put up for eviction, must pay the regular tax price + 15 mina late fee before the eviction will be reversed Seeds & Seed Houses Seeds, Households, and Clans are those officially recognized Families within the Realm of Amaethea and thus are granted additional privileges such as their own Family House and elevated status within the realm. Requirements In order for a family to be recognized as a Seed/House/Clan within the realm, they must meet Three out of the Six Requirements listed below, once they are meet the Head of the family must approach either the Head or Deputy Steward in order to talk about being recognized and given a house, once all the information is collected it will be forwarded to the Prince-Royarch who is given the final say. 1 - At least Five Living Clan/House/Seed Members with at least three living in Amaethea 2 - One Member serving Amaethea in an official capacity (Military or Stewardy) 3 - Two Members serving Amaethea in an Unofficial capacity (Tavern worker, Druid Circle, Builder, Medic, etc) 4 - One member serving as a Councilor or Advisor to the realm 5 - Must own property within Amaethea and have a good tax record 6 - One family member with a long history of service to the crown State of Disrepair If a recognized Clan/Seed/House fails to upkeep their family or fails to pay the required tax on their property the crown reserves the right to strip them of their official status until they can once again meet the requirements and prove themselves.
