It is often said that if a House has no relics; that the worth of a House is decreasing, yet in over a hundred years of Rosius history; we have lost countless family members due to either disease, wars or accidents. They have left their personal materials behind in the world that we now live in; and are burdened to keep it safe in the honour of our forebears. This is the official documentation of the relics of House de Rosius.

I. LA ROSE D’OR

The Rose of Gold a small but a very significant relic of the House, it was said that it was made by Valent Philip de Rosius whilst establishing the House of Rosius and declaring himself as Patriarch. Ever since; this relic passed on to Otis Maximilian de Rosius from Otis to Hera Claude de Rosius and from Hera  to Louis Joseph de Rosius. This relic is to be held by every Patriarch or Matriarch of the House de Rosius and it serves as the oldest relic within the House. When a Patriarch or Matriarch passes, this relic shall lay upon the coffin until the coffin has been buried.

II. LE COUTEAU DE JULIUS CESARE DE ROSIUS

The Knife of Julius Cesare de Rosius is a relic with a rather horrific background. It is said that when Julius marched out of a meeting with the city assembly of Providence; he got possessed or a spell was put on him that drove Julius Cesare mad. He took out his own knife which happened to be one he crafted himself. The knife had thorns engraved upon its blade and its handle had golden roses; signifying the symbols of his House. While Julius held his head with both of his hands, shouting and screaming; he unsheathed the knife and began to repeatedly stab himself in his stomach - with the last strike, he eventually bled to death in front of the Novellen Tavern of Providence. His knife was taken by a relative who was watching and is now laying in a chest that no man or woman might open.

III. LE BOIS BRÛLANT

The Burning Wood is a piece of burnt wood which came from the carriage of Elaine Victoria de Rosius nee d’Arkent and Maria de Rosius. It is said that someone assassinated the two by placing a small barrel of gunpowder under the carriage and exploded by a shot from a flaming bolt of a crossbow. The carriage exploded in Redenford, the home of the House of Rosius and many of the House seeing Elaine Victoria and Maria burn alive within the carriage, alongside the unborn child of Philip Hughes de Rosius. The Burning Wood is preserved in a small box which has the entire scenario engraved upon it; a flame and a carriage.

IV. L'ARMURE DE SAINT MONSIEUR PHILIP

The Armour of Holy Sir Philip, is the armour that was worn by Philip Hughes de Rosius during his service in the Supreme Order of Ex. Owyn; trained by August Jazloviecki and the then Apostolic-General Armand de Rennes. The Armour now serves as a symbol of the Canonist piety of the current House of Rosius and its kin. The armor is preserved on an armour stand and it is being maintained monthly so the armour is preserved well enough for the future generations of the House and its members.

V.  L'ÉPÉE DE PHILIP DE ROSIUS-ROURKE

The Sword of Philip de Rosius-Rourke, father of the founder Valent of House de Rosius also had given his successor as the Head of House de Rosius a sword which would be carried and used in battle against the enemies of the realm whom the Patriarch had sworn fealty to. The sword itself is made out of pure ferrum and has symbolism of Rosius heritage. In the middle of the guard of the sword there is the tree of O’Rourke; on the right and left of the guard there are Lorraine crosses. The pommel of the sword had been made into that of a rose as symbol for the House of Rosius and is made out of gold. The blade of the sword has a quote engraved on it in golden lettering that says Spinae Sanguinem FaciuntWhich is Flexio for “A Thorn Makes One Bleed”. The sword also has a name; The Thorn”.

Signed,

Louis Joseph de Rosius

Lord of Rosenfort, Lord of Mont Louis,

Patriarch of House de Rosius
