[ Jura i Krima ] THE FOLLOWING CLAIMS WERE BROUGHT AGAINST THE DEFENDANT: The defendant allegedly attacked, killed, and disfigured a woman within the Morrivi Palace; claiming that she was Darkspawn and that it has been sent by Godan to kill Darkspawn beings. THE RATIONALE FOR THE PRESIDING JOVENAAR IS AS SUCH: As the Darkspawn in question was not the one on trial, nor is she alive to testify or be tested for her descendant-legitimacy, she is not being judged for her crimes. Murder is murder, no matter who it is against, and that is a crime in our Kingdom. Furthermore, the Defendant took justice into his own hands; killing an innocent-until-proven-guilty woman within the Royal residence, a place of honour. As such, to prevent further assault and disturbance of the peace from the Defendant in question the presiding Jovenaar found the being guilty of murder, and it necessary to sentence it to death.
