While in Krugmar, the Kheshig spotted lightning bolts far to the north. Kheshig Urara, Krughai Nob Krogath and Myself followed the lightning to Kramaroe. There we saw the area besieged by Zombies. As we fought off the zombie hoard, a minion of the undead arrived in the form of a Giant. I am proud to say the Kheshig and Krogath stood with honor and valor and fought back the giant without suffering any great wounds. Saved all of its major organs and brought them back for storage and future use, including its skull (which was pissed in thoroughly). It was after slaying the minion that I perceived some manor of Undead sorcerer stealing off to a tower on the western side of Kramaroe. We regrouped at the base of the tower and pursued. As we ascended the tower there was no sight nor sound of the undead sorcerer, however he did summon a second horde of zombies. Surrounded and caught off guard, we successfully destroyed the horde but not without casualties. Urara and I led the charge up the stairs and were caught full on by the Horde. We were knocked unconscious as Krogath finished off the remnants and pulled us to safety. Unfortunately the Undead sorcerer escaped and I take responsibility for that failure, as I commanded the charge recklessly without heeding basic caution in case a second hoard was summoned. None the less, I recommend Krogath be commended for his performance.

Kheshig Urara and I had just returned from a raiding expedition far into the Wilds east of Krugmar when Yaghy approached us at the entrance to Fort Krug from the King's Road. He told us that there were reports of undead activity at a new fortress at the King's Road, but it had died down. Shortly after a messenger bird arrived with a letter of urgency reporting the Bog was in danger, his life threatened. By the time we arrived the situation had calmed down and Bog was fine. Shortly after Kheshig Nob Blawharag joined us. We approached the gate and asked if we could speak about the rumors we've been hearing about. They claimed there were no undead and they were running a peaceful and neutral base. We asked if we could come inside to settle this. They refused and Blawharag smashes his way through the gate because they started acting suspicious. While going through the second gate they pulled a trap and dropped us into a pit. One of the men (named Shadow as I recall) demanded we each pay him 1000 minas and hand over our armor or we die. We refused and he knocked us out by drowning us in the cell. We both awoke in the Cloud Temple with wounds and a lack of memory. We stumbled back to Krugmar and began to regain our strength when a large band of orcs (and some elves) stormed into Krugmar led by Urara. They informed us of the events at the location.

We then spent the next couple of days ((in-game)) recovering from the experience and rallying the orcs. We got our armor and weapons ready along with some pinkskin allies that we were informed as enemies to this fort. We marched down the King's Road and demanded they face us for retribution of slaying orcs, and trying to rob them. A large battle ensued when one of the men found a way into the keep. We took control of the gate and the large band rushed inside. We began fighting all over the inside, and even some on the walls. Blawharag faced one in the tower but was felled and dragged back to the Cloud Temple. Soon enough we had secured the keep and gained the upper hand. Unfortunately some of them managed to sneak away and set up a trap. He trapped a large number of orcs in the same gate trap that got Blawharag and I earlier. They barricaded themselves into the control room while insults and demands shouted back and forth. While this was going on an undead in a purple robe showed up and started yelling. Some in the crowed identified him as Wrath, and even the undead himself mocked us by announcing it. Using this distraction we were able to take control of the area and free the orcs. We then took cover as Wrath began to spray us with lightning.

We shot arrows from our defensive position and managed to chase the undead off. As the battle began to settle there was only one or two survivors from the keep. Blawharag opened diplomacy with him while I settled the troops and kept them vigilant for the undead. After some debate we came to a small agreement. Their leader will be coming to Krugmar to have words with The Rex and try to mend the relationship between Krugmar and his guild.

Over the last few days we have been having an interaction with a sandstone fort on Krugmar lead by an orc named Kan. The Rex has stated that they have until Sunday to hand over a tribute of 3 diamond blocks or their fort will be torn down. I approached their base and asked them how progress was going. They immediately became hostile, and refused to speak with me. We left specific instruction the day we arrived that the Kheshig would be checking on them to see how their payment was coming along. This group was made of Kan himself, one of the new orcs, and a human. Kan and the human were openly hostile while the second orc mostly kept to himself. They berated me and refused to answer any of my questions and outright insulted my title. Dominus Craotor'lur showed up soon after and also witnessed these events. The 3 then began to not only insult our laws and customs, but they also insulted The Rex himself. Kan demanded that Krugmar is in debt to him because he helped us in a single conflict (which he would not name). After these blatant insults we threatened his life and warned him that this is only going to make it harder on himself. He then threatened war with Krugmar. Kan boasted he would gather 100 soldiers and make war on Krugmar. Craotor and I had enough and cut them down and watched the monks drag them to the Cloud Temple. I came back to check on them at the end of the day and saw them laying cactus traps under their bridge. Be wary.

I also lead a small band of orcs to dismantle the fishing village and the dig site.

<The Following is a report written by Kheshig Nob Gragarn'Gorkil, translated into the Common tongue.>

1. A group of traveling merchants came to Krugmar and made a proposition. They wish to setup camp in Krugmar for 2 months (2 weeks in real life) and offer us goods at the lowest prices in all of Aegis. I also convinced them to give an extra discount to orcs specifically. They only require a small amount of space near the road and we have a large open field next to the road leading to the Grand Arena.

2. Another undead attack. An undead was spotted flying around Sanhar summoning undead minions and throwing fireballs. Between Ascended shields and fireballs some of Sanhar was destroyed. The mighty orcish nation has already repaired the damage.

3. I was at the entrance to Fort Krug from the King's Road with Craotor, Bog, and Bog's life mate. Bog received a messenger bird from some orcs down the King's Road that Vulgrak was taken captive. We stormed down and I barreled to the front and demanded to speak with their leader. I began speaking with a Dwarf named Olin (I think?) who claimed to be the captor. He claimed Vulgrak committed banditry on the road. Vulgrak denied these claims so I had them both fight to see who's right. Vulgrak won the duel and some unknown cloaked people began insulting orcs. Then some (what I believe to be) dwarves began demanding war and fighting. One of them released a messenger bird which I assumed was calling for reinforcements so we struck them down and won the battle. We then returned to Krugmar and celebrated by pissing on a dark robed man in a cage.

I was on a scouting mission out in the desert by the Grand Arena. I was going to do some hunting on our new hunting grounds when a discovered another "Warden" base. All of the signs left by The Rex and High-Prince Native were nowhere in sight. It was another small square building with chests inside, each with a sign labeling what each chest was to be used for. The chests were mostly empty outside some construction materials. The building also had another "Warden Outpost" sign attached with some extra trees planted further into our desert. I then sent word to Craotor by messenger bird and he rallied all the orcs he could find while I prepared some ladders, axes, and flint & steel. This time we were going to leave a message. Instead of just tearing it down we turned the area into ruins, then lit it on fire knowing the flames would not die by the time they returned. Each orc there also left a message behind. While deconstructing a small post outside the building Craotor discovered the signs we left behind during our last visit with The Rex, and High-Prince Native. The culprits built this small structure over/around them.

Shortly after, Kheshig Warboss Blawharag returned from a long hunt. I filled him in on the details and we rallied all of the orcs. We were going to take them straight to the Wardens to hear their excuse from their own mouths. We met an elf when we arrived at Laurelin that was happy to help us find the Wardens. He lead us to their base and showed us weaknesses in the walls so we could climb in. This got us past the first checkpoint. We approached the main base where some Wardens greeted us. They allowed us into their base where an argument began arising. We silenced the orcs and spoke with their leaders. Blawharag stayed behind with their Grandmaster while I took a Warden named Leafwind back to the build site. When we got there he made it clear that this is not Warden architecture, and it was not them. He claimed that an ex-warden was known about though. Our discussion was interrupted when an elf approached us and began talking about the fire. He wore gray armor with very very pink ears poking out the sides. His voice is also unmistakable. We approached him and he claimed this was "his" forest and seemed distraught at the fire. When we began to question him he ran and we began chase. He took to the treetops but luckily we had enough orcs in the trees and on the ground to keep a lead on him. Leafwind and I chased him to the edge of a tall tree with nowhere else to run. Leafwind tried to grab him but the elf chose to take the jump. I quickly jumped after him and managed to slam my sword on top of him and kill him instantly while he was recovering from the fall. Shortly after the monks came and dragged his carcass away.

With this information at hand Leafwind and I returned to the Warden base where Blawharag was keeping things in-check. The Grandmaster had important duties to attend to and left Leafwind in charge. I reported that we had recovered some evidence and needed to speak in private. Luckily it seemed the orcs were tempered enough to put aside their hate and sit tight. Leafwind lead us into the main area of the Warden base where we discussed the information we had uncovered. He informed us about the ex-Wardens and how they were on a vendetta to create problems for them. Based on what happened at the build site and our alliance I was willing to believe him. We discussed terms and because the elves seemed unable to solve the problem on their own we've volunteered the Kheshig and Krughai to aid the Wardens in the pursuit and capture of the impostors. We expect to receive reports of their progress while we will also be sending some to them. We hope to create an open channel so any deceit is easily uncovered. Further information is classified and requires and audience with The Rex.

<The Following is a report written by Kheshig Warboss Blawharag'Gorkil, translated into the Common tongue by a scribe>

While in Krugmar I noticed lightning in the direction of Kramoroe. When I arrived, I stumbled upon a large scale battle between a mixed force of the races of aegis and the Undead. The undead had summoned a veritable army of minions and were raining lightning and fireballs down from their fortress. I joined the battle and after securing some positions and advising the units involved to take cover from the fireballs, I rushed the base. I quickly found the area protected by enchantments and returned to the front lines. I opened an emergency supply center to keep our forces alive and kicking, and rallied the Orcs.

Important tactics of the Undead to note: They summoned ghasts and giants in conjunction, hoping to have lesser forces focus on the giants while the ghasts rained death from above, I remedied this by instructing all the forces to focus on the ghasts first, even slaying one myself. The undead also summoned an entire sea of flames, followed by a mass summoning of lava. We had trenches filled with water though to negate these problems, though it may be necessary to carry water buckets to a more surefire defense against lava.

Once the main battle had been won, the Undead hid behind their enchantments within their fort, harassing our troops with lightning from safety. I declared that the Orcs would lay siege to their fort until the enchantments could be brought down and immediate set to gathering the power of the spirits and the wisdom of the ancestors to destroy the enchantments. After I had summoned the assistance of other shaman, I estimated that the enchantments would be down in roughly a day. The other races were weary at first to remain for the siege, but they eventually did. We rebuilt ramparts and other defensive structures to ward against Undead lightning whilst I summoned the leaders of the other forces.

After some time, we had hammered out all the details of our battle strategy for when the enchantments were brought down. The White Ravens and the Oren military would form the vanguard of our three pronged attack, the Orcs would form the Operations force, a small contingent would form a Vanguard relief task force and the Wardens would make up the all important Reserve. As the plans were fine tuned, we began spreading the word to our other leaders.

It would appear that our impending victory was too much however. Just before I and the other Shamans had finished bringing down the enchantments, they undead collapsed their fortress. We had intel leading us to believe they had some manner of relic with them that they were trying to defend. We were never able to confirm this, but judging by the manner of their retreat, and lack of relic upon the site following the retreat, I believe any relic that was within the base has been destroyed. There was no nether portal, nor remains of a nether portal, to indicate it had been brought to the nether (I suspect it was an impossible task, else they would have done it to begin with) and the siege was effective in ensuring no one left the fort. We can only assume that if the relic was inside, it was destroyed with the fort.

It is also important to note that an overseer of the undead was slain in single combat well before their retreat. This could indicate that the Undead are arrogant enough to accept duels from those they cannot defeat.

Perhaps unrelated, during the siege an undead operative came into Krugmar seeking an audience with the Warlord. He was inside Inner Sanjezal, Wearing dark robes and a hood (which had the undead symbol upon them) and summoning lightning against Yaghy. He was killed as he fled us.

((I will post a screen shot later))

This post is to replace a Kheshig report that was deleted. I don't feel like re-writing the report, but this screen shot should make it pretty obvious what happened.

Yes there was two of them, and one of them had the exact same equipment as me. Obviously their mother never told them that one Orc is worth three oomies.

<The Following is a report written by Kheshig Warboss Blawharag'Gorkil, translated into the Common tongue by a scribe>

After some meditation, investigation and spirit talking in Kramoroe, I have discovered what this "Relic" is I mentioned in a previous report concerning the Undead Fort within Kramoroe. The Relic is responsible for the destruction of Kramoroe and is located in some underground croft deep within the earth. There appear to be seven levels of enchantments surrounding the Relic, which is what kept the Undead from reaching it during our siege. The Relic is powerful and I have reason to believe that the undead will be reviving their efforts to reach it soon. I recommend the construction of our own fort on the premises to deter any Undead misconceptions of a second chance at reaching the fort. I further believe that we should begin our own efforts to reach the Relic. I am to understand that with time, a group of Shamans could breach the enchantments and reach the Relic. The process should take roughly a month ((1 Week IRL)). The Orcs should have no trouble protecting the Shamans at work while they do so.

On a side note, there was an arena tournament held by the Wardens. A new grunt accompanied me to the Warden base where we enrolled in the roster. The Grunt, Gralka, and I fought in the first round. I am pleased to say that he did much better than the Warden I faced in the second round, and with no prior training at that. In fact, he has not even joined the Krughai, though I recommend him be signed up immediately. The tournament was fought with sticks (though we Orcs used bones) and Blawharag made it to the final round, which was a 3 way fight. Blawharag fought bravely, but fell against the two wardens. I did my damage though, and the Warden who put me down found himself defeated within seconds of myself. And I believe his Warden opponent was on the verge of death himself.

The Wardens also practice the human form of execution, prefering it to our Orc customs. Where an Orc would have a prisoner fight on equal terms, one v one against all the other Orcs of the region until he won his freedom or died, the Elves instead dropped their prisoner into a pit and fire arrows at him until death. I explained to them the Orcish customs and why such a method of execution is considered cowardly in our lands. One elf in particular, by the name of Durzio, was interested and mindful of our culture. I say let the Wardens do what they want, but when their traitor is found (the one that has been causing de-desertizations in southern Krugmar) we must be careful to make sure he dies in a way that coincides with Orc tradition, not Warden. How the Wardens treat those that wrong them is their business, but those that wrong us must face an Orcish penalty, lest we be shamed in Krug's eyes as cowards.

Glory to Krug and the Warlord! Glozag Votar!

A band of humans calling themselves "Red Fist" stormed into Krugmar and demanded we hand over Bog. When questioned "why" they did not answer and instead took chase as Bog ran by. I ordered them to stop buy they kept running. We pulled out our swords to try and stop them, but some of us were knocked out and dragged away by the monks. When I woke up I had no memory and stumbled back to my hut in the Nomad Village. I started checking my wounds and making sure everything was still working. While I was checking my supply chest for food a sand rat burrowed up from beneath me with a note attached. It was from Bog who pleading for help. I wasn't exactly sure what it meant at the time, but a second rat poked its head up with a note saying he's in Sanjezal. I quickly grabbed my weapons and armor from the supply closet and rallied all the orcs I could find. We ran into Sanjazal where we found Bog trapped behind the gate with about 5-8 humans taunting him and demanding money. I gave them warning to leave the city or die. They ignored me and I issued a final warning. I yelled for attack and we slew all the humans. Bog was safe and when he came back down he told me it was a group called "Red Fist."

((Well ... i hope it doesn't bother you, if i post here...

we where 6 to enter Krugmar and 4 at the gate of Sanjazal, when that is the name, but it's nice to know we been so overwhelming we looked more ;). Speaking for myself ... we not so much ignored you rather, then had a bit much to do at a same time. We tried to negotiate with Bog, dodge arrows, that kept coming from the city walls at us and dealing with a guy who claimed we no RP killed him. I only realized you where standing there, when i read "charge" and 2 orc came with diamond swords at me.

In retrospect it was kinda fun, but a bit messy and frustrating in the process. I hope if we get to do something like this again, it will be smoother and less confusing (and less borderline meta (sand rat? that's how you do this? I should go train some pidgins) for everyone.

BTW. nice thread

P.S. who ever has my diamond sword now ...i hope you cut yourself with it ;)

The gypsies came to sell at there camp so the Krughai went to defend it. There was a man there wearing chainmail armour and a helmet. I told him to remove it and he refused, after asking again he refused again. I then told him to leave krugmar and he replied with "no". I then gave him serveral warnings and he eventually began to leave once the swords went out. As he left the gypsie camp he pulled out a Golden Staff and said "This is were you pay". Then lightning rained the skies. The undead was defeated however a few orcs fell, including myself and we awoke in the Temple I was then informed of what happened. The undead seem to be venturing into krugmar more often a young child came into Krugmar earliar this month and he however didn't attack. The orcs should be wary.

<The Following is a report written by Kheshig Warboss Gragarn'Gorkil, translated into the Common tongue.>

I was tending to some business at my tent in the Nomad Village when a bird carrying a letter landed on one of the corners of the tent. I snatched the letter as the bird flew off. It was a message from Kheshig Urara demanding me immediate attention outside Alkhazar. I quickly grabbed my sword and some armor and made my way there. I discovered the Teutonic Order, The Wardens, and a small group of Orcs all organized at the wall outside Alkhazar. Kheshig Urara and Targoth Lud filled me in on what was happening. I was told that The Rex had declared war on Oren and this was the first attack. Targoth Lud had personally gathered the Wardens. We began setting up battle plans and were prepared to storm the city. We found the humans had seen us coming and there were barricades built along the walls, and in the roads. The Teutonic Order (along with Lud and Urara) stormed through the sewers. I followed the Wardens through the mountains and made my way across some rooftops and found myself at the keep. I aided the Wardens in locking down the human castle as a few of Oren's defenders tried to rush us. We lost a few elves but held the line. The rest of the attack force kept the main attack force distracted in the streets. They slowly made their way to the keep where we regrouped. We found no sign of King Enor as it seemed that most of the humans ran away. As a last message to Oren we dismantled the throne into 4 sections and handed them out to the different faction that aided us. I learned at the end the Black Axe Dwarves helped us in the fight. One piece went to the Orcs, one to the Teutonic Order, one to the Wardens, and one to the Black Axe. Satisfied we had struck fear into the heart of Oren we left with promises of a return.
