THE VAROCHE SOCIETY PRESENTS…

A CALL TO THESPIANS

The Varoche Society is pleased to announce that casting for A. P. Varoche’s newest play, Guerra Sul Fiume, to occur shortly after the publication of this missive. We are excited to stage our first play without interruption.

Guerra Sul Fiume is a drama in three acts about an Illatian family who rebels against a wicked, demon-consorting Duke.

Based on the events of the Author’s own life during the Adrian Rebellion, this play explores the way in which love conquers hate, even when all odds are against you. Guerra Sul Fiume was written over a period of three months with an immense amount of redrafting occurring.

Guerra Sul Fiume is dedicated to Sigismond and Charles Varoche, A. P. Varoche’s father and brother, respectively.

ROLES AVAILABLE

Mafalda Ferri: A noblewoman to-be-engaged to the Duke’s brother, Tussio. However, the marriage is broken off once her father, Elio, rebels against the Duke.

Elio Ferri: A nobleman and chancellor of the Duchy. Rebels against the Duke, and is killed in Act II.

Alfonsa Ferri: A pale noblewoman and the sister of Mafalda. Ripped from Mafalda and Elio in the war - turns to become a priestess of the church after the war.

Guards: Tussio’s Guardsmen.

Tussio La Fata: The Duke's son and Mafalda’s betrothed. An ignorant, and boring man twice her age.
