A Idea for new walls

Might I suggest an underground tunnel system that would lead out of the cities, and let women and children out. Also, it could be used for sneak attacks from behind the enemy.

That's a good Idea, but it has nothing yo do with the walls.

Yes it could, but it isn't practical.

we could have a lava moat instead of a water moat and have the base of the walls be stone so it wouldn't burn. then people wouldn't even try to come near the walls. also to enter we could use a drawbridge with a remote activation lever inside a gatehouse in the walls. we could also have multiple gates that were linked in the gatehouse for a well defended entrance.
