I address you now, having secured His Majesty, King Aleksandr II’s permission for my retirement. For the past forty-two years, I have served the Crown and its people. For the past twenty-five, I have served as Seneschal. 

 

Now is the time, when all is settled after the upheaval of our journey to Aevos, to allow a new man or woman to take over the Office, in what is a new world. I can only heartily thank those who have walked this path with me, who have supported me, and who have dedicated their lives as I have to the Crown. 

 

For Valdev, and Hanseti-Ruska, I wish only the happiest of days and the brightest of futures. You, the Haeseni people, have my most profound gratitude for allowing me to serve as I have.
