HIERARCHY OF THE RIVERGUARD

RECRUIT:

The Recruit of the River Guard is an individual who has recently joined the military force and is undergoing training to become a full-fledged member. Recruits are in the early stages of their journey and are eager to learn and develop the necessary skills and knowledge required for their role. They undergo rigorous physical and mental training, gaining a foundation in military tactics, discipline, and teamwork. Recruits play a vital role in shaping the future of the River Guard, as they are being prepared to contribute to the defense and protection of the kingdom's waterways.

GUARDSMEN:

The Guard of the River Guard is a dedicated member of the military force tasked with protecting the kingdom's waterways. They are trained in various security and defense techniques to ensure the safety and integrity of the river. Guards are vigilant, alert, and ready to respond to any potential threats or disturbances along the waterways. They maintain a strong presence, conducting patrols, inspections, and enforcing laws and regulations pertaining to the river. The Guards of the River Guard serve as a vital line of defense, upholding the mission of safeguarding the kingdom's vital lifeline.

SENIOR GUARDSMEN:

The Senior Guardsman of the River Guard is the dedicated level position within the military force. Senior Guardsmen are dedicated and motivated soldiers who undergo training to become full-fledged members of the River Guard. They carry out assigned duties and follow orders from higher-ranking officers. Senior Guardsmen play an essential role in supporting the operations of the River Guard, working together as a team to ensure the safety and security of the kingdom's waterways. They are the backbone of the force, laying the foundation for their future growth and development within the Riverguard.

 

CORPORAL:

The Corporal of the River Guard is a trusted and capable non-commissioned officer within the military force. They hold a position of authority and assist in the leadership and management of their unit. Corporals provide guidance and direction to the soldiers under their command, ensuring the efficient execution of tasks and maintaining discipline. With their experience and expertise, they contribute to the overall effectiveness and cohesiveness of the River Guard. The Corporal's role is vital in supporting the chain of command and upholding the mission of protecting the kingdom's waterways.

 

SERGEANT:

The Sergeant of the River Guard is a respected and experienced leader within the military force. They hold a supervisory role and are responsible for guiding and supporting a group of soldiers. Sergeants play a crucial role in maintaining discipline, training, and ensuring the efficient execution of orders. With their leadership skills and expertise, they provide valuable guidance to their subordinates and contribute to the overall effectiveness of the River Guard. LIEUTENANT:

The Lieutenant of the River Guard is a capable and dedicated officer who supports the Captain in leading the military force protecting the kingdom's waterways. They hold a position of authority and responsibility, overseeing smaller units and coordinating tactical operations. With their leadership skills and experience, Lieutenants play a crucial role in maintaining discipline and ensuring

the river's security. They act as a bridge between higher-ranking officers and the soldiers, providing guidance and executing missions with precision.

 

CAPTAIN:

The Captain of the River Guard is a skilled and respected leader responsible for protecting the kingdom's waterways. They possess extensive knowledge of riverine warfare and excel in strategic planning. With their commanding presence and expertise, they inspire loyalty among their troops and ensure the safety and order of the river. The Captain serves as an advisor to the monarch and represents the unwavering defense of the kingdom's vital lifeline

LIEUTENANT-GENERAL:

The Lieutenant General of the River Guard is a highly respected and influential leader within the military force. They hold a senior position, second only to the General, and play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the operations of the River Guard. As a high-ranking officer, the Lieutenant General possesses extensive experience, strategic expertise, and exceptional leadership abilities .The Lieutenant General works closely with the General to develop and implement strategic plans, coordinate deployments, and ensure the effectiveness of the River Guard. They are responsible for directing and supervising multiple units, providing guidance, and making critical decisions in the field. Their role involves assessing risks, evaluating operational needs, and ensuring the safety and security of the kingdom's waterways.

GENERAL:

The General of the River Guard is the highest-ranking officer and esteemed leader of the entire military force protecting the kingdom's waterways. They possess extensive experience, strategic brilliance, and exceptional command capabilities. With their authority and expertise, they oversee all operations, planning, and defense strategies related to the river. The General works closely with the monarch and high-ranking officials, ensuring the security and well-being of the kingdom. They inspire awe and respect among the troops and are responsible for the overall effectiveness and success of the River Guard.

NON COMMISSIONED OFFICERS

Non Commissioned officers are roles with a very specific purpose within the Riverguard, these officers equate to the same rank of Corporal and are considered very valuable for doing what they do. 

 

QUARTERMASTER:
The Quartermaster is responsible for keeping track of inventory, supplying the Riverguard with equipment and keeping track of said equipment. The quartermaster is also responsible for all personnel, tasked with keeping track of the activity of the members, helping decide who should be kicked and promoted. As well as a personal advocate for individuals who feel they were wronged by a higher ranked officer. The Major is also a large part of recruitment, helping ensure the Riverguard are trained and trained well.

RESOURCE MASTER:
Resource Masters are the ones who have donated above and beyond what’s expected, because of their adept ability in collecting materials. Resource Masters are tasked with collecting a specific material the Riverguard needs, because of this, they are paid significantly more than the average member because they gather a much higher output.

DRILLMASTER:
Drillmasters are experts at training the members of the riverguard in live combat. They are tasked with training the Riverguard how to fight well, holding yearly sessions of live combat.
