Preamble:

Just as when the sun and moon match together in a wondrous eclipse, so too have the elves of the sun and moon, the Moonlit Lands of Nor-Velyth and the Rah’muns, enter into an agreement, forging a bond of cooperation and mutual respect. This covenant seeks to formalize and celebrate the alliance between these two entities, recognizing their shared goals and the balance they bring to the territory of Rahtuma. Through this vassalage agreement, they commit to upholding the principles of sovereignty, cooperation, and unity in their shared dominion, while honoring the roles of the liege and vassal.

 

On Territory:

1.1. The Moonlit Lands of Nor-Velyth hereby grants the Rah’muns control and sovereignty over the territory defined as Rahtuma and her immediate surrounding lands.

 

1.2. The Vassal shall exercise full dominion and governance over the Territory, subject only to the Moonlit Lands of Nor-Velyth's overarching sovereignty.

 

On Sovereignty:

2.1. The Moonlit Lands of Nor-Velyth acknowledges the Rah’muns' autonomy and supreme authority within the Territory, with the Moonlit Lands serving as a protector and supporter of the Rah’muns' interests.

 

2.2. The Rah’muns pledges allegiance to the Moonlit Lands of Nor-Velyth as its sovereign, with the understanding that the Moonlit Lands shall not interfere with Rahtuma's internal affairs or governance.

 

On War:

3.1. In times of war or conflict, the Rah’muns shall have the prerogative to determine the Territory's military actions, subject to consultation with the Moonlit Lands of Nor-Velyth and taking into account the Moonlit Lands' strategic interests.

 

3.2. The Moonlit Lands of Nor-Velyth shall provide military support to the Rah’muns when required, with the understanding that such support will be provided in alignment with the Rah’muns' defense and security needs.

 

On Law:

4.1. The Rah’muns shall establish and enforce laws and regulations within the Territory that are consistent with the interests and values of the Moonlit Lands of Nor-Velyth, while respecting the rights and well-being of the Territory's inhabitants.

 

4.2. In matters of law, governance, and administration, the Rah’muns shall act independently while bearing in mind the Moonlit Lands of Nor-Velyth's overall objectives.

 

 On Duration and Termination:

5.1. This Agreement shall remain in effect indefinitely, subject to any modifications or termination as mutually agreed upon by the parties.

 

5.2. Either party may terminate this Agreement with reasonable notice, provided that such termination shall not lead to a breach of peace or compromise the security and stability of the Territory.
