Frawlic 266 Share Posted January 3 Penned by Rozsika Korvacz c. 14th day of Joma ag Umund of 510 E.S. Since the passing of the first duke, Jan Arpad Ivanovich, GODANI rest his soul, we must regretfully admit the stagnation of House Korvacz. In our grief and as we grew older, we strayed apart from one another, mother from son and father from daughter. We have gone against the words that forged our house. Together, we prosper. In our division, a fire has claimed the home we knew from winters ago. It is a sorry sight to see, but a valuable lesson. It is evident that in the burning of Andregrad, it is now more important than ever for House Korvacz to stand united in its course of action. As the fate of Andregrad is sealed in flames, an eagle knows it is better to save the fledglings than the burning nest. House Korvacz served the Duchy of Stran, beneath Duke Jan I’s rule, fervently. We served as any family would be proud to serve in Stran. However, by GODANI’s will or otherwise, it seems our lot is not within the forests and fields of Aaun. We, House Korvacz, relinquish our titles and lands. Baroness Xénia Korvacz relinquishes her title, and no Korvacz shall bear the title of Baron or Baroness of Kotovy again. Our land, the Barony of Kotovy, will find new use as the remnants of the Duchy of Stran or the Kingdom of Aaun see fit. We will return to our status as an unennobled family. However, Ser Miklós Korvacz will retain the knighthood bestowed upon him by the first duke. Ser Miklós Korvacz will also retain his position as patriarch until Loránd Korvacz II is of suitable age and marital status to inherit the role. Xénia Korvacz shall retain her position as matriarch, as passed down by her mother, until Loránd Korvacz II has wed a woman befitting of the role of matriarch. On our official departure from the Duchy, we shall be moving to the Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska to join our fellow Raevir in these distressing times. It is better to stand united than to remain divided and scattered. We offer guidance and assistance to the survivors of the burning of Andregrad. Those with no place to go or the intention to rebuild may find us for food, company, or otherwise. The Esrova Prikaz Court will provide shelter to Andregrad’s survivors, under the approval and oversight of Amaya of Venzia, Queen-Consort of Hanseti-Ruska. To the Ivanovich dynasty, you have lost a good man and his vision for Stran. We pray that the late duke, János Ivanovich, has found peace in the Seven Skies, like his father and his father before him. To our missing kin who may see this, we pray that you are safe and alive. We hope you will join us in the north too. We hope to welcome you with open arms and make ourselves a stronger family for it. Xénia Korvacz, Baroness Emeritus of Kotovy Sir Miklós Korvacz of Kotovy Loránd Korvacz II of Kotovy Rozsika Korvacz of Kotovy Her Royal Majesty, AMAYA OF VENZIA, Queen-Consort of Hanseti and Ruska, Princess-Consort of Bihar, Dules, Lahy, Muldav, Solvesborg, Slesvik and Ulgaard, Duchess-Consort of Carnatia and Vanaheim, Margravine-Consort of Korstadt, Rothswald, and Vasiland, Countess-Consort of Alban, Alimar, Baranya, Graiswald, Karikhov, Karovia, Kaunas, Kavat, Kovachgrad, Kvasz, Markev, Nenzing, Torun, Toruv, Valdev, and Werdenburg, Viscountess-Consort of Varna, Baroness-Consort of Esenstadt, Kraken’s Watch, Kralta, Krepost, Lorentz, Rytsburg, Venzia, and Astfield, Lady of the Westfolk, et cetera. Spoiler OOC Note It is sad to see and hear Stran go, but it is just a chapter closed in the server history. We're happy for the memories it gave us as a group and thankful for the people we've met through it! We're excited to see where this new chapter takes us on the server and other members of Stran, wherever they go. Thank you very much to @sarahbarah for helping us format the post as well. psychra_notte 125 Share Posted January 3 Miklós walked into the square of Valdev, his eyes scanned the buildings as he walked about. Snow crunched under his boots, with cane in hand, the old Hound smiled. It was time for his family to come together."This, shall be a dobry home! Yam glad Y family jest here, " He mumbled, "Y only hope others survived that fire.."
Optimus420 1731 Share Posted January 3 From the skies above Jan stared down as the Korvacz made their way to the land of the northmen, "They will endure, hopefully they will learn and reunite to be with true Raevfolk later in life. Godanistan watches over them now."
