Article I - Land

A. The Shiredom of Dunwen shall grant The House of Whitewood the 2nd sector of the neighbouring mountains to the House to govern as part of their territory.

B. The Halflings shall retain access to the rich iron mines of the mountains.

 

Article II - Taxes

A. The House of Whitewood shall pay in total 150 mina per year to the Shire to prevent the land from being seized by the Blue Monks.

 

Article III - Ducal State

A. The House of Whitewood shall thusly form the Ducal State of the Duchy of Brabant, which shall encompass all their territories.

B. The Rights of this Ducal State, for as long as the House of Whitewood maintains it, are thus:

B.1. The House of Whitewood reserves the right to levy taxes upon its land.

B.2. The House of Whitewood shall have the right to create and maintain laws within its land, including the jurisdiction to administer titles and nobility.

B.3. The House of Whitewood shall have the right to create and maintain its own governing body to administer the land.

B.5. The House of Whitewood has the right to form its own diplomatic pacts with other groups and nations for as long as they are not contrary to the interests of the Shiredom.

 

Article IV - Duties

A. Beyond the necessary taxation for the maintenance of the Land, The House of Whitewood is to come to the aid of the Weefolk should it be necessary.

B. A castle shall be constructed atop the mountains to further this goal.

 

Article V - Titles

A. The Shiredom of Dunwen grants the Patriarch of Whitewood / Duke of Brabant, the title of Lord of the Peaks and Protector of the Weefolk.
