The Valahan (Human) interpretation of the Sov Aurum Silriv.

Prelude

A hideous, worm-like thing - that was what the athrii was, thought Sul Amirsan, as he beheld the insidious creature. It had burrowed within the hills and made a nest there. With a keen eye and a worried glance, he looked to his brother Meruasul for guidance, and then they engaged the slothful ravager within its domain. That is to say, they stomped it, and they rendered the uncharacteristically large creature into a fine paste on the ground. Due to the sheer enormity of its size, it required both of them to evade the foul creature’s venomous touch. Sul could feel the venomous acid corroding the soles of his scuffed leather boots. That would be the two brothers' first unceremonious night in the wilderness of the jungle. Throughout nearly three years, the Spicers would toil beneath the vengeful sun alongside their many peers, assembling the place according to the specifications of their architect Seraya Mallir Virayat. After years of arduous effort and thousands of minas dedicated to their pious cause, the Acaelanites, at last, beheld their towers perched upon the crest of the once indomitable mountaintop.

Lo and behold, glory Tahn’larueth!

On the ninth day of Sun’s Smile in the year one-hundred-and-seventy of the Second Age the citadel of Tahn’larueth was erected at the peak of the Larueth Mountains, the northern frontier of the Crown of Amathine.

The seat of the Talonnii aen Sov, many winding marble spires offer sanctuary to wayward Mali, doubling as the base of operations for the Raell’uvuliran within Amathine. The flags and tapestries bear fruit for the idle traveler who desires a place to stay or complimentary aid. It shall be easy to find us, the marine textures on our flags are complemented by our symbol, a golden silriv planted in a streaking comet. Without the assistance of many of our peers within el’cihi, our construction of this grand work of artistry would have gone on for many years, so we offer our thanks.

Below is included a chart of the route from el’cihi to the entrance of the stronghold of Tahn’larueth.

"Acaelan ahereh naean’leh," vowed Ardavan Amirsan Torena, the mal'maronn of the aen Sov brothers. The saneyir of his guild, the august Raell'uvuliran, had sent him west to aid their fellowship in the erection of a new outpost. Now it would fall on him to make a report to Adriel Acal, dictating his letter to a fellow functionary as follows:

"laurir'saneyir, the construction has been completed. I am reminded of the fable of Prince Mylas. When he died, he remained upright, leaning on his staff, for half-a-hundred weeks until the athrii gnawed away at it. It is then that his body fell to the ground and the Malin'ori, who had hitherto been distracted by the idolatry of the druids and Aeriel, finally knew that he had perished. The prospecting will begin soon."
